This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are in a time of new beginnings, new visions of what you want to accomplish -- or become. You have launched a new start buoyed on a new sense of self-confidence and new opportunities. This may involve a new sense of who you are, new ways of honoring and "being true" to yourself, new purposes, and new goals. You are embracing new energy and enthusiasm ... and you know you are going in the right direction and stepping up to a new level of personal development and achievements.

This situation is complicated by the fact you face difficult choices over conflicting needs and elements that don't accommodate one another well. You may not see a way to gain constructive cooperation ... or strike an agreeable compromise between the different factors present here. This may still represent quite a handicap to you.

You are coping with a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists, but at least this situation is out in the open where you can recognize it and work with it directly and honestly. You realize the impact this has on your thinking and your decisions. This has your full attention now.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.

If the description of the difficult personality above doesn't seem to fit your circumstances, or if this interpretation resonates more emphatically with the situation you are handling, then consider this to be the message the card is offering you.

You are in conditions of conflict, separation, misunderstanding, and quarrelling -- possibly regarding an important relationship or alliance. The energy of this card is that of "coming apart," and indicates unbalanced relationships, failure to communicate well, failure to understand your partner and his or her needs, and an overall lack of support and appreciation in either direction among you and your associates.

It can also indicate circumstances where someone in a relationship is too possessive, dishonest, too demanding, manipulative, or cold. There is a severe lack of balance and equality in what should be a much more even or independent arrangement.

It indicates arguments, disputes, distrust, unhappiness, loneliness, and "feeling distant" from those who are supposed to care for you -- and about whom you, too, ostensibly care. This is an energy of unhappiness ... and feeling both unloved and unloving. This energy is out in the open ... where you can work with it directly and try to correct it. But as an asset, it may not be offering you much help in meeting the challenges of what you are trying to cope with.

You are in circumstances that are unfair, unbalanced, unjust. Someone may have treated you unfairly. You may have arranged to be unfair to yourself in order to be fair to somebody else. Possibly you have taken advantage of a loophole that got you better arrangements than you really deserved -- or someone pulled this on you.

It may take several efforts to resolve this matter, or perhaps there simply is no way to be fair to all concerned.

You may not know exactly what to do with this situation at the moment -- how to compensate for the problems or arrange justice in this matter. You may not yet understand the dimensions of what you're working with. You may be in denial that there is a problem. Or you may not realize how much these circumstances are going to impact the business of your life as it unfolds.

You will find allies and a cooperative network of support available to help you with this matter. The near future in this situation puts you in touch with opportunities for teamwork, advice, and help.

Ultimately, you will reach a place of wealth, stability, comfort, and security ... where you have a comfortable lifestyle and all the resources you need -- at least temporarily.
