She (or he) is a thinker, a good judge of people and situation, able to make well-considered decisions, and "cut to the chase" in dealing with information and arguments. This person is individualistic, analytical, strongly opinionated, and personally intense.

She handles facts and information well ... and may be a good communicator. This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this asset readily at hand, and can apply it to your own benefit whenever you choose.

You are in a situation that contains considerable dishonesty in what you say, think, believe ... or in what you are being told. The information you are working with is unreliable ... possibly by "putting a better face" on rather unpleasant facts. This is an energy of self-sabotage, of being complicit in your own undoing, of letting yourself be talked into something when you know better -- by accepting excuses, rationalizations, and pretty cover stories. You may even be making these up and telling them to yourself. You may learn in time you have been your own worst enemy by adopting this strategy.

This card depicts reaping the consequences of past bad actions, lies -- perhaps ones you have told yourself or lulled yourself into believing, not paying close attention to what really matters, making decisions based on wishful thinking or deceitful information, weaseling, and either trying to get away with something ... or letting somebody else get away with something -- again, when you really know better than to trust what is happening here.

This is literally an energy of theft and deception. You ... or someone else ... is trying to gain something you have not earned (which could be money, possessions, position, status, regard, or "credit" for something that doesn't really belong to you), are using sweet-talk and fabrications to support your claim, or are playing head games and trying to pull a fast one. Something about the way you think about, work with, and report this situation needs to be corrected -- and fast.

You are in a situation that is confused, stalled, frustrating, blocked, and which doesn't let you live up to your potential. A lack of leadership, vision, personal commitment, and no overall sense of objectives or direction hinders any further growth or progress for the moment.

You may be caught in a sequence of false starts, misdirected energy, setbacks, delays, obstacles, and helplessness. You may also be dealing with uncooperative attitudes from others ... and from life itself. You are wasting yourself on this merry-go-round ... and wasting your time, resources, and abilities. You're just not getting anywhere ... until you make some changes to whatever is causing this inertia. Consider that at least part of the problem likely is you.

You need to make some serious adjustments in your thinking and perspectives -- changes which may include everything from simply developing a better attitude to completely revising what you are trying to accomplish.

You can easily succeed at what you are trying to accomplish. An energy of happiness, contentment, satisfaction, love, harmony, serenity, comfort, and fulfillment is available ... and you understand this.

A fair amount of money or professional success are both available to you -- but you may not have either in hand yet, or you may not realize the asset this represents. It's also possible you're simply not using it to best advantage for other reasons.

New sources of income and new professional opportunities will present themselves soon. You are beginning a new effort of material creation ... which could eventually bring an improved lifestyle -- and more healthful conditions -- as well as more money and more to show for your investment of time and energy.

In time, you will meet a helpful person or adopt a very beneficial set of attitudes. This person is business-like, practical, has sound money sense and a good head on his shoulders. He may be working in a relatively new professional endeavor ... or have started a new career path recently. He is either fairly young or somewhat "new" at what he is doing.

This person is efficient, studious, down-to- earth, dependable, and hard-working. His attitudes and choices are realistic, responsible, and conservative. He may be a little too "bottom-line" to be called compassionate, but he is able to offer practical help and sensible counsel. He or his advice may be conspicuous in business, health, or lifestyle issues you are dealing with at the moment.

While this energy may come in the form of another person -- it may also be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development.
