You are working with a significant moment of victory and success.

In addition, you have come through conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You are now able to see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed.

The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge. The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.

Mentally ... and perhaps physically, though you are "running on empty," fretting, over-wrought, and not getting enough rest. You may need some substantial "down-time" in order to recuperate -- but you may not feel you can afford that luxury. For now, you may prefer to ignore the implications of this handicap ... or you may not feel you have any choice but to "work around it."

You have a helpful person or a very beneficial set of attitudes in your situation. This person is introspective -- but may have a very upbeat and enthusiastic personality. He is interested in learning who he is and what his "mission in life" may be about. He has ambition and charisma. He is learning to make his mark on the world ... even if through the sheer force of his personality -- which may be substantial.

This person is energetic, volatile, impulsive, and likes to stir up excitement. He is outgoing, generous, innovative, competitive, positive, and bold. He is interested in becoming all he can be -- and is a natural leader, although he may be relatively "new" at the tasks that occupy him at the moment.

He will clearly have the potential to "get noticed" and develop a following. He takes risks, shows determination, is always up for "learning more" ... and may be willing to "try anything once."

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. You are, however, aware of its presence ... and are able to make direct use of the benefits it brings.

It may also represent good news about something you are trying to accomplish or become -- something which offers you the encouragement you've been looking for and enables you to go forward.

You are in a situation that is balanced, stable, successful, and "complete but not satisfying." This energy contains feelings of boredom, stagnation, discontent, lack of motivation, and even mild depression. You need to re-evaluate your position, your priorities, potentials, relationships, needs, and desires. It is time to look inward, see how you need to re-engage with life, break up some of your familiar but stale routines, and find a new situation where you are doing more than treading water and "going through the motions."

You may not see a way to accomplish this ... or compensate for the problems it is causing you. You may also be in denial about the handicap this represents now in your life.

Soon, you will have to cope with a problem personality -- or set of attitudes. This person is domineering, obstinate, vengeful, cruel. She (or he!) places too much emphasis on her own image -- and is insecure in this identity. She is insincere, shallow, condescending, jealous ... and may pick at or find fault with others in order to undermine their confidence. This may be a tactic to build up her own flagging or unsteady self-image.

Her attitudes are demanding, petty, rigid, vain, lacking in compassion and sympathy. She is narrow-minded, bitter, controlling, ruthlessly competitive, and angry. This person is self-absorbed, self-centered, and may be given to "ambushing" people -- as a tactic for gaining power.

This may, indeed, be another person you have to cope with -- or it may be an inner personality of yours that is causing trouble, and that has come to the surface now so you can confront and correct its counterproductive effects.

Ultimately, you will reach a situation where you are spinning your wheels, running around in circles, putting in huge amounts of effort and energy -- and achieving no progress whatsoever. This energy is one of intense, disorganized action, strife, and confusion. It also represents an identity crisis -- not knowing who you are or what you "role" in this situation is, needing to fight for your rights and position -- but maybe not being willing or able to do so.

You may face a loss of security, harmony, and privacy. You may not have a good sense of yourself or your competence in this situation. You may feel very ambivalent and internally divided. You may face numerous, complicated, and confusing options and choices. This is an arrangement of extreme discomfort with yourself and your situation. It contains energies that speak of arguments, rivalry, agitation, conflict, disagreements, and divided opinions.
