This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are involved in experiences that include serious quarrelling, anxiety, and deep philosophical disagreement. This is an extremely disagreeable situation, containing, as it does, elements of defeat, unfairness, failure, slander, cruelty, cowardliness, and malice. You may feel you have been treated unfairly ... or realize that you have done so to others. (Possibly both.)

This is a situation of insensitivity, fear, the realization that you are not following your conscience -- if you pause long enough to rationally consider what is happening here. You are pushing an issue ... or using force ... to no good avail, often to avoid changing your mind about something dear or important to you. Or you are feeling coerced and pressured to change your opinions ... or surrender your ideas ... by circumstances or another person.

This is an energy of victimization, and because energy is always a two way street, you may be either the victim, the perpetrator, or quite likely ... both. You may have to cope with feelings of revenge, the consequences of your self-defeating actions, or the consequences of ruthless responses.

Even "winning" here gains you nothing but an empty victory. You are likely locked into circumstances which involve mind games, game-playing, scoring points, getting even, and working to get "one up" on someone else -- and vice versa. You need desperately to change your thinking.

You may not see a good way out of this situation ... or how to compensate well for the considerable problems this is causing you, but at least at this point, you understand the seriousness of these complications and are working directly and consciously to see what can be done with them.

Additionally, your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him.

Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own happiness, your own creative pleasures, and your own "love of living." You could have lost sight of this for some reason ... and need to reconnect to this vital source of emotional support in your own life. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You have reached a point of material stability, professional competence, career recognition, and financial success. You may not be wildly wealthy, but you have steady employment, are able to use your talents and resources to good advantage, and can hold on to what you earn. You are in a profitable, stable situation with solid foundations -- and you will be able to stay there.

You realize this and know you can trust it. You are also able to use these resources to your own benefit. This comfortable situation has quite an influence now on the ideas you hold and the choices you are able to make.

You are in a situation where there is a lot of uncertainty, where you will have to listen to your feelings and play your hunches -- because there is much more happening beneath the surface of reality than meets the eye.

You may have to wait a while for the pattern and order here to reveal itself properly. You may also need to have faith that things will work out as they should. This could provoke a lot of anxiety, but something important is coming together in the outcome of this situation -- and for a while, you will just have to exist on the edges of reality where "what might be" is still being solidified into "what truly is." You have at least reached the point, however, where you can cope well enough with the anxiety you feel to "just let it be" and not be provoked into a harmful choice or over-reaction.

There is much more to this situation than meets the eye ... and you will have to trust your feelings and instincts to a great extent, rather than taking matters at face value. You may have the feeling of something important unfolding beneath the exterior surface of life that won't yet have made itself clearly known -- or taken on its final shape. You may feel off-center and anxious about this -- or you may not be sure what you can trust at this point. The confusion may be something of a liability for a while.

Before long, you will meet a helpful person or adopt a very beneficial set of attitudes. This person is introspective -- but may have a very upbeat and enthusiastic personality. He (or she!) is loving, sensitive, caring, artistic, cultured, and eager to please. He may be quite imaginative ... someone who values both learning and social connections. Feelings are important to him ... and happiness in his world means having the opportunity to enjoy some of life's finer and more sophisticated pleasures.

He is diplomat, a natural psychologist, a peacemaker who knows how to work with the give and take of relationships. He has a kind, gentle, sentimental, and compassionate personality. He pays attention to his intuition ... and may be fairly described as "emotional" ... easily moved by empathy and concern. He is affectionate, easy to like, though also moody and idealistic ... possibly just a little too impractical and trusting to move easily through this world.

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. It may also represent a sudden intuitive feeling, dream or creative inspiration about something you are trying to accomplish or become -- something which offers you the encouragement you've been looking for and enables you to go forward.

Further, it can signal the beginning of a new relationship, a new emotional connection, or involvement in a new creative venture. This is a signal to listen to your feelings, fantasies, and imagination as well as the contributions of the people around you.

Ultimately, you will arrive at a place of joy, love, satisfaction, and delight.
