You are in a situation that contains considerable dishonesty in what you say, think, believe ... or in what you are being told. You may even be making these up and telling them to yourself. You may learn in time you have been your own worst enemy by adopting this strategy.

This card depicts reaping the consequences of past bad actions, lies -- perhaps ones you have told yourself or lulled yourself into believing, not paying close attention to what really matters, making decisions based on wishful thinking or deceitful information, weaseling, and either trying to get away with something ... or letting somebody else get away with something -- again, when you really know better than to trust what is happening here.

This is literally an energy of theft and deception. You ... or someone else ... is trying to gain something you have not earned (which could be money, possessions, position, status, regard, or "credit" for something that doesn't really belong to you), are using sweet-talk and fabrications to support your claim, or are playing head games and trying to pull a fast one. Something about the way you think about, work with, and report this situation needs to be corrected -- and fast.

This new growth step has your full attention now ... and you are able to enjoy the benefits of its encouragement.

You need "more action" in your life, a revitalized drive to accomplish something, and the opportunity for new challenges, relationships, excitements projects, opportunities, commitments, and interests -- and you know it. It's time to move on again, and emerge from this place of rest, contentment, and even boredom, and now you can at least work consciously with this rising tide of possibility.

You have "a better idea," a new philosophical perspective, a new vision available to you. You have the chance to use greater insight and intelligence ... being "smarter" than you used to be. This may involve both new information and a new educational opportunity. You are able to get your points across, communicate well, and see your issues more clearly.

This is a time of creative visualization, new plans, powerful new uses of your own mental energy, and "knowing the right answers." You feel intellectually compatible with your directions ... and know you have finally "gotten the message." At last you are able to use these wonderful assets properly on your own behalf.

You are in a situation that is confused, stalled, frustrating, blocked, and which doesn't let you live up to your potential. A lack of leadership, vision, personal commitment, and no overall sense of objectives or direction hinders any further growth or progress for the moment.

You may be caught in a sequence of false starts, misdirected energy, setbacks, delays, obstacles, and helplessness. You may also be dealing with uncooperative attitudes from others ... and from life itself. You are wasting yourself on this merry-go-round ... and wasting your time, resources, and abilities. You're just not getting anywhere ... until you make some changes to whatever is causing this inertia. Consider that at least part of the problem likely is you.

You need to make some serious adjustments in your thinking and perspectives -- changes which may include everything from simply developing a better attitude to completely revising what you are trying to accomplish.

At the moment you may not understand the impact this lack of vision and failure of leadership can have on your situation. Or, if you do, you may not see a good way to correct or compensate for the problems it cause you. You may also be in denial that things are really as serious as they are here.

Soon, you will move into a situation where you use money and resources wisely. These are circumstances of prosperity where you receive what you deserve and are able to share the bounty with others. It may mark a moment of material gain or an upswing in prosperity. It's possible a gift is involved, or a return on past investments. It is a time of feeling well-off and able to make new investments of yourself and your assets in new projects and other people.

Your own generosity may be on full display -- or you may be the beneficiary of other people who are willing to lend support and help for things you want to accomplish. It's a time of reaping what you've sown -- and you find you have plenty. You may also be prompted to combine your resources with those of others for some effort of mutual gain. You may also be given opportunities to "branch out" ... and either increase your income or diversify the sources from which it comes.

Ultimately, you will create circumstances where you have taken (and will continue to take) responsibility for your life and what you are creating with it. You will show qualities of loyalty, steadfastness, courage, and the ability to "meet the competition and succeed." Obviously, this is a position of considerable advantage, allowing you to create success, even against opposition.

You are willing to confront problems and take a stand for what you want and believe, maintaining your position with confidence and poise. You have faith in yourself and your purpose. You know how to defend what is important to you, and you resolve disputes without caving in under pressure or compromising your integrity.
