This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are in a situation where there is a lot of uncertainty, where you have to listen to your feelings and play your hunches -- because there is much more happening beneath the surface of reality than meets the eye.

You must wait a while for the pattern and order here to reveal itself properly. You also need to have faith that things will work out as they should. This could provoke a lot of anxiety, but something important is coming together in the conclusion of this situation -- and for a while, you will just have to exist on the edges of reality where "what might be" is still being solidified into "what truly is."

In addition, you are in a situation where you can use money and resources wisely. These are circumstances of prosperity where you receive what you deserve and are able to share the bounty with others. It may mark a moment of material gain or an upswing in prosperity. It's possible a gift is involved, or a return on past investments. It is a time of feeling well-off and able to make new investments of yourself and your assets in new projects and other people.

Your own generosity may be on full display -- or you may be the beneficiary of other people who are willing to lend support and help for things you want to accomplish. It's a time of reaping what you've sown -- and you find you have plenty. You may also be prompted to combine your resources with those of others for some effort of mutual gain.

You may also be given opportunities to "branch out" ... and either increase your income or diversify the sources from which it comes. You know about this valuable bounty and are able to work with it directly for your own advantage and benefit.

There is also a problem personality complicating the picture, someone who qualifies as a real trouble-maker. There is a sly cunning to this character, and a secretive, scheming "mean streak" that may make him (or her) particularly hard to get along with. Attitudes of aggression, sarcasm, cynicism, and pettiness dominate -- along with an insufferable spirit of narcissism that may be almost impossible to stomach. You are aware of this ... and you understand how much impact this person or these attitudes have on your own outlook and thinking.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own thinking, opinions, and the way you express your ideas. You may be acting on wrong information. Your prejudices or a serious misunderstanding of the facts could be having too much influence on your thinking. You may be pushing your opinions too hard and alienating others from considering your views objectively. You may realize you've been too one-sided in your thinking or that you haven't been listening well.

You may have decided to pull back for a while and reconsider some of your stronger views and the way you express them that could actually be either misguided ... or hurting your own cause. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You are able to take charge of your circumstances ... and your life ... and exercise the power, control, and "governing" functions that are truly your right to claim and your responsibility to fulfill. This is a powerful energy of self-mastery, self-control, and achievement. You are able to be in control, giving direction, demanding respect, and exercising wise and proper authority. You understand the advantages this offers you.

You need to move to a place of balance, stability, new insights, and greater equilibrium. You have this available, but you don't seem to be using it to your own best advantage. Here adjustments are easily made. You have the self-control and patience you need. There are conditions of cooperation and compromise available, more flexibility, sufficient moderation, and the integration you need for peace of mind.

You may start to see greater symmetry in your life ... perhaps in the midst of paradox. You may also see possibilities and combinations others (and even you yourself) have not considered. You will find ways to synthesize and moderate conflicting requirements ... in one of the most positive uses of your own creative energy you may have seen in a long time. But at the moment, it may not be clear to you how this will come together.

You will ultimately be able to overcome all your problems, delays, and challenges -- and claim victory in this matter.

Ultimately, you will find yourself in a situation where you feel trapped, imprisoned, limited in options, and unable to do anything positive to resolve this issue without a great deal of discomfort and upset. You may feel anxious, worried, and powerless. You may be unable to think clearly about your present circumstances, let alone make constructive, informed decisions.

You may know what needs to be done ... but hold back from doing it for complex and compelling reasons. The "cure" may be worse than the problem in your mind ... and in your paralysis, you simply perpetuate this unpleasant, unproductive stalemate. You may be letting others interfere with your perceptions and decisions.

You may be waiting for life ... or other circumstances to "rescue" you from this arrangement. Through your indecisiveness and cowardice you may simply be building things to a more intense level of crisis -- but that may be what it takes to move you to action. This is a very damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don't situation ... but you may prefer putting up with the discomfort -- for now -- than risking what might happen if you really take steps to do what needs to be done.
