This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are in a situation where you are failing to take charge of your circumstances ... and your life, conditions where you are either pushing too hard or not exercising your rightful authority in the choices and directions of your own life. You may be dealing with energy that is tyrannical, controlling, domineering, and abusive. You may also be wasting opportunities and not building anything constructive at this point.

This card's energy can also mean someone in your situation (possibly you yourself) are being lazy and indifferent ... drifting when you ought to be doing ... or at least paying better attention. You are not exercising proper self-discipline or self-control. You ... or someone influential in your situation ... may want success without doing the necessary work. You also may be dealing with negative or unethical motives.

You suffer overall from a lack of courage, determination, leadership, and action. You may be mismanaging an important situation ... and making no progress. You ... or someone in this situation ... may be displaying or coping with toxic ego issues, interested only in self-advancement or self-promotion. You may also be coping somehow with delusions of grandeur ... or a complete lack of integrity, ability, and ambition.

Additionally, your situation contains a person who is objective, perceptive, self-reliant, and an independent thinker. This is someone with an inclination toward solitude, self-directed counsel and opinions, who has a philosophical outlook on life, and may be a good therapist, advisor, or psychologist -- self-educated or otherwise. She (or he) is a thinker, a good judge of people and situation, able to make well-considered decisions, and "cut to the chase" in dealing with information and arguments.

This person is individualistic, analytical, strongly opinionated, and personally intense. She handles facts and information well ... and may be a good communicator. This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this asset readily at hand, and can apply it to your own benefit whenever you choose.

You are in circumstances where a lack of money, possessions, or other resources is causing you concern You may also have health or lifestyle issues that need to be addressed and corrected. You may not yet see a good way to compensate for this ... but at least you understand the extent of the problem now, and correcting this issue has your full attention.

You are in a situation that is balanced, stable, successful, and "complete but not satisfying." This energy contains feelings of boredom, stagnation, discontent, lack of motivation, and even mild depression. You need to re-evaluate your position, your priorities, potentials, relationships, needs, and desires. It is time to look inward, see how you need to re-engage with life, break up some of your familiar but stale routines, and find a new situation where you are doing more than treading water and "going through the motions."

You are dealing with significantly changed circumstances ... ones that result from a long process of evolution and development. They are connected to internal changes in you, with a clear relationship between inner changes having caused outer changes ... and outer changes prompting even more inner ones. This shift in the paradigm of your life is still in progress -- although you may not be fully aware of it, or realize the extent to which this will eventually reshape the conditions in your both your outer and inner worlds.

You are moving soon into a situation that is very much in line with who you are as a spiritual being, making choices that will help you fulfill your intentions and destiny, and that will advance your personal development to a new level of experience and competence. These circumstances contain faith, trust, optimism, a sense of fresh beginnings, and a grand feeling of confidence that you know who you are, what you can do, what you want to accomplish, and that you are on the right path.

At this point, you are willing to take new and appropriate risks. You are open to new experiences. You are doing things ... and making changes ... that are original, unique, insightful, ingenious, and that fully honor you. You are standing your ground and standing by your decisions, knowing they are the proper ones for the person you are ... and the person you are becoming.

Ultimately you will face circumstances where impatience is both a major factor and a possible pitfall. You may find other people dominate your thinking and decisions. You may not consider your options, possibilities, responsibilities, resources, or other choices that might contribute better to your advancement -- and success. By surrendering to these tactics and temptations you may undermine your own goals ... long before you reach them.

These are conditions where misunderstandings, opposition, and a lack of cooperation are on full display, where you may be receiving -- and sending -- mixed messages, where the "details" ... and even "realistic thinking" elude you. This is an odd and uncomfortable energy of being both ambivalent ... and urgently anxious to be on the move. Trouble is ... there's no way to know for sure which direction to head -- and that you're not moving in the wrong one.
