This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

The lack of joy in your situation, the blocked emotional fulfillment, frustration, and depression are all too evident. You may be facing a lack of real love, manipulation of yourself or others "in the name of love," and a deep sense of genuine unhappiness. You are not doing anything you enjoy.

You don't trust your situation -- or the conditions in it. You feel you lack the necessary support of others around you ... and the basic pleasures you have a right to expect. You may feel unwanted, abandoned, deceived, unsupported, and unable to offer love and support to others. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be "taking and using" -- and that will exhaust everyone concerned before long.

You are coping with someone who does not react well to having his ideas challenged or his opinions questioned. He (or she) is very forceful in his thinking ... but also very closed-minded and rigid. He may blame others rather than seek solutions, fail to show leadership, and fail to accept responsibility for the problems he creates with his attitudes ... and manner.

He is stern, strict, cruel, unjust, and uncaring. He may trigger these same responses in you -- or this energy may well be an inner part of you that comes to the surface to be noticed and adjusted. You may not see a good way to neutralize or compensate for the problems this person causes -- but at least the matter is out in the open where you can deal with its stresses honestly. You are very aware of the influence this is injecting into your situation.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own thinking, opinions, and the way you express your ideas. You may be acting on wrong information. Your prejudices or a serious misunderstanding of the facts could be having too much influence on your thinking. You may be pushing your opinions too hard and alienating others from considering your views objectively. You may realize you've been too one-sided in your thinking or that you haven't been listening well.

You may have decided to pull back for a while and reconsider some of your stronger views and the way you express them that could actually be either misguided ... or hurting your own cause. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You need to move to a place of balance, stability, new insights, and greater equilibrium. You have this available, at least on an intellectual level, within the confines of your own mind, and you know it. Here adjustments are easily made. You have the self-control and patience you need. There are conditions of cooperation and compromise available, more flexibility, sufficient moderation, and the integration you need for peace of mind.

You may start to see greater symmetry in your life ... perhaps in the midst of paradox. You may also see possibilities and combinations others (and even you yourself) have not considered. You will find ways to synthesize and moderate conflicting requirements ... in one of the most positive uses of your own creative energy you may have seen in a long time. This growth step has your complete attention now.

You are in circumstances where you feel unhappy, dissatisfied, "incomplete," and strained. You may also be coping with loneliness or "being in a rut" that keeps you from moving forward to another level of experience and challenge. Possibly there is a chronic problem you haven't solved yet or a situation you haven't yet brought to closure. There is a heavy energy of dissatisfaction that permeates your world ... of something that just isn't yet what you want it to be.

You may want to release something -- but are unable to. Or you may be holding onto something because it is not what you want it to be yet ... and therefore the foundation you need to move on to another level ... or another situation ... isn't in place to support new growth. Either way, this unfinished business ... and the stagnation in which it exists ... continues.

You are aware of this influence ... and able to work with it openly and directly. That may be all the good you can say about it, though.

You have an unused asset in your situation. It is time to make a new beginning, construct a new vision of what you want to accomplish -- or become, or launch a new start buoyed on a new sense of self-confidence and new opportunities. This may involve a new sense of who you are, new ways of honoring and "being true" to yourself, new purposes, and new goals.

You need to embrace new energy and enthusiasm ... and know you are going in the right direction and stepping up to a new level of personal development and achievements. You may not yet know this resource is available to you ... or how to make the best use of it. This is something you need to consider carefully -- and assess soon to use to your own advantage.

Soon, you will encounter a personality or a set of attitudes that can be quite positive and helpful. This person is "successful" in the conventional career and financial sense of that word.

He (or she) is a business person, and entrepreneur ... someone who may have sacrificed a great deal for the commercial and professional status he enjoys today. He enjoys staying busy. He sets a practical example for others regarding wealth and the use of material resources -- but he may have neglected his emotional side in pursuit of public honor and regard.

He is a provider, an achiever, someone who enjoys prosperity ... and life's worldly pleasures. He is reliable, steady, solid, even-tempered, conventional practical, and analytical. He places emphasis on efficiency, reality, and having good "business sense." He believes in conservative, old-fashioned values and watching out for "the bottom line."

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that have come to the forefront to help you develop it further. This energy is an asset you can readily use to good advantage.

Ultimately, a personality problem surfaces whom you will have to confront or cope with. He (or she) might legitimately be called a trouble-maker. There is a sly cunning to this character, and a secretive, scheming "mean streak" that may make him (or her) particularly hard to get along with. Attitudes of aggression, sarcasm, cynicism, and pettiness dominate -- along with an insufferable spirit of narcissism that may be almost impossible to stomach.
