You may also be coping with a lot of mixed messages and your own ambivalence.

As long as things are jumbled as they are regarding this energy of "missing alliances and no support," you might be wise to pause and wait for things to clear before proceeding. Right now you are not heading toward a successful result or the advantageous use of what you are working with.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you have decided to "go back to the drawing board" in terms of partners and allies, outside resources, or your own mixed feelings on this matter and try to reorganize this part of your situation into something more cohesive. There may not be much difference showing in the outside world yet, but you are making some important inner changes and behind the scenes adjustments that will be better in the long run.

If this meaning resonates strongly with you regarding your present situation, consider that it also is a message the card is suggesting for you to receive.

Your own clear thinking and creative energies are right at hand and ready for you to use. You can develop and draw on your talents and abilities -- by making decisions you can trust and acting on information that is rock solid and true -- and you know exactly how to apply this asset properly. You know what to do, what to think, what direction to take, how to see your plans through to completion, and how to support your own ideas. Thought and action raised to this level of power are an unbeatable combination.

You are willing to listen to your inner self (or a trusted, wise outside counselor), clarify your thinking, fortify your courage and finally say what you think and own what you know. The benefits of this candor are hard to overstate. Sometimes there are no finer assets than straight thinking and straight talk -- backed up by direct action.

She is dignified, decisive, competent ... and knows how to support the growth and development of others as well as direct her own evolutionary path with wisdom and integrity.

You have this asset readily at hand, and can apply it to your own benefit whenever you choose. It is having a considerable and positive influence on your thinking and decisions now.

You are dealing with significantly changed circumstances ... ones that result from a long process of evolution and development. They are connected to internal changes in you, with a clear relationship between inner changes having caused outer changes ... and outer changes prompting even more inner ones. This shift in the paradigm of your life is still in progress -- but at this point you are able to deal openly and directly with the ramifications.

You are in a situation that involves money problems, material hindrance, uncontrolled spending, obstacles, and delays in your financial life. The energy here is that of "not enough money," a shaky position, monetary lack, and feeling victimized, exploited, powerless, and "taken advantage of." You may not see a way out of this ... or a good way to compensate for the problems it causes you. You may also be in denial about the seriousness of the handicap you are working under.

Soon, you will move into a situation that involves the release of physical and financial assets. Something here may not pay off the way you expect it to ... or it may cost you a lot more than you realized -- or hoped. On a positive note, this incident of releasing money may indicate you will make a major purchase (although it's also possible what you "buy" will be the sad wisdom of experience.) Or you may "invest a lot of yourself" into something -- that may or may not yield the dividend you're looking for.

At the moment, indications are it won't give back what you intend -- but the investment may simply take more time to mature than you've realized. Presently, however, you have to work with the possibility that you are overspending; incurring money problems; investing yourself, your time, and your talents poorly.

You may not be living up to your potential -- or achieving the gains you intend to make. You may be jeopardizing yourself without realizing it ... or exhausting yourself to no ultimate benefit.

In time, you will meet a helpful person or adopt a very beneficial set of attitudes. This person is introspective -- but may have a very upbeat and enthusiastic personality. He is interested in learning who he is and what his "mission in life" may be about. He has ambition and charisma. He is learning to make his mark on the world ... even if through the sheer force of his personality -- which may be substantial.

This person is energetic, volatile, impulsive, and likes to stir up excitement. He is outgoing, generous, innovative, competitive, positive, and bold. He is interested in becoming all he can be -- and is a natural leader, although he may be relatively "new" at the tasks that occupy him at the moment.

He will clearly have the potential to "get noticed" and develop a following. He takes risks, shows determination, is always up for "learning more" ... and may be willing to "try anything once."

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. It may also represent good news about something you are trying to accomplish or become -- something which offers you the encouragement you've been looking for and enables you to go forward.
