This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are in a situation where you need to step back, go inward, pause, surrender to the "inevitable," and listen to the counsel of your Inner Self. You are in circumstances that require you to have faith and patience, to accept "being in limbo" for a while, and to suspend decisions and actions while you wait for a better sense of direction ... and the lifting of the fog and confusion that now envelops you.

This is a time to seek inner wisdom, to reverse your usual perspectives on life, to find a way to "look at your situation differently." Things unseen are unfolding beneath the surface of your life that will require you take another view of something you've been seeing too narrowly up til now. You need to adopt other opinions, see your world and choices differently, release what is familiar -- and let something new come into being.

Keep an open mind -- and be ready to accept intuitive advice and "other possibilities" as they present themselves. You are at a crossroads, a time of transition and waiting. Be still for now, meditate, ponder, reflect -- and consider your next move, but take your time acting in response to what will come into your life at this time.

By now, the option of waiting and having patience may not be such a problem for you as it was in the beginning. You may realize the wisdom of this "strategy of inertia.' You are consciously willing to "wait and see what happens next."

You have renewed your emotional engagement with life. There are new interests -- or new dimensions of old ones -- available to you. You have new momentum, a new sense of ambition, new goals, new desires, or a new sense of direction after being stuck in a period of complacency, contemplation, inactivity, or even mild boredom. This new growth step has your full attention now ... and you are able to enjoy the benefits of its encouragement.

You need "more action" in your life, a revitalized drive to accomplish something, and the opportunity for new challenges, relationships, excitements projects, opportunities, commitments, and interests -- and you know it. It's time to move on again, and emerge from this place of rest, contentment, and even boredom, and you know it.

However, you've begun to apply a set of constructive values, an ability to use good sense, a willingness to do the work necessary to create something of value involving money, possessions, business opportunities, or your professional directions. Your sense of practical achievement now has the upper hand.

You are coming to terms with time of sorrow or sadness over a relationship that ended or the processing of a serious disappointment. You may have decided to "take the bull by the horns" on this matter ... and resolve it to the point you can deal directly and openly with it now.

However, something new exists involving money, possessions, business opportunities, or your professional directions. You may not recognize its full dimensions yet ... or be applying these benefits as well as you could. They are not yet providing you with the advantages that are actually available.

Soon, you will encounter a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes.. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.

If the description of the difficult personality above doesn't seem to fit your circumstances, or if this interpretation resonates more emphatically with the situation you are handling, then consider this to be the message the card is offering you.

On the horizon, a "personality problem" moves into sight. This one involves someone malicious, cruel, sarcastic, intolerant, and prone to use his or her superior mental gifts and hurtful tongue as weapons in a situation of "warfare."

This may be another person. This may be the response elicited from you as a result of the stress you are having to handle, or it may be one of your own inner selves coming to your attention for you to notice and adjust.
