This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You have changed some well-established beliefs and attitudes, although possibly only through force of necessity. You understand how in some of your ideas and actions you were wrong, unfair, misled, misinformed, confused, or how your behavior did considerable harm to yourself and others.

You consider this episode a "learning experience" ... and realize you are dealing with the consequences of your own choices -- well-informed ones and otherwise. Mostly otherwise. Your new perspective significantly alters some of your previous beliefs about your philosophy of life, your ability to communicate what you know, the "truth" about what you stand for ... and things you were "originally taught" ... on some fairly basic principles of living.

Additionally, you are dealing with a lot of impatience. You may be making or have recently made some moves that were not well-considered and which do not have the support you need to make the most of the changes they bring. You could also be letting other people dominate your thinking and "make your decisions for you."

You are not considering your options, possibilities, responsibilities, resources, or abilities in ways that offer you the full range of available potentials. You may, instead, be kicking up misunderstandings, opposition ... or at the least a lack of cooperation from those you need to help you succeed in this present venture. You may also be coping with a lot of mixed messages and your own ambivalence.

As long as things are jumbled as they are regarding this energy of "missing alliances and no support," you might be wise to pause and wait for things to clear before proceeding. Right now you are not heading toward a successful result or the advantageous use of what you are working with.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you have decided to "go back to the drawing board" in terms of partners and allies, outside resources, or your own mixed feelings on this matter and try to reorganize this part of your situation into something more cohesive. There may not be much difference showing in the outside world yet, but you are making some important inner changes and behind the scenes adjustments that will be better in the long run.

If this meaning resonates strongly with you regarding your present situation, consider that it also is a message the card is suggesting for you to receive.

Mentally ... and perhaps physically, though you are "running on empty," fretting, over-wrought, and not getting enough rest. You may need some substantial "down-time" in order to recuperate -- but you may not feel you can afford that luxury. For now, you may prefer to ignore the implications of this handicap ... or you may not feel you have any choice but to "work around it."

There is much more to this situation than meets the eye ... and you will have to trust your feelings and instincts to a great extent, rather than taking matters at face value. You may have the feeling of something important unfolding beneath the exterior surface of life that won't yet have made itself clearly known -- or taken on its final shape. You may feel off-center and anxious about this, and you may not be sure what you can trust at this point. But at least you are able to admit your concern, open up to your intuitive messages, and work with the information that does come -- as it arrives and in ways that are deliberate and positive.

You are moving to bring an end to this level of experience by judging the work here complete and successful. There will be a sense of release, renewal, and the ability to change your focus to another set of challenges -- complete with a change in your personal consciousness as a result of your learning in this matter. You will be satisfied with your decisions and what you have accomplished. The eventual results here may, in fact, accrue to you as positive karma. You may not yet realize this is where you are heading, however, or that you are this close to completion. This decision may not be available to your consciousness yet -- or you may not yet be conducting yourself with this resolution in mind.

In the short term, you may have to cope with someone who does not accept opposition well, who isn't overly helpful or sympathetic, who may have the idea that his way is the only way. Attitudes of intolerance, self-righteousness, narrow-mindedness, and willful dominance pollute the atmosphere ... coming either from you or from someone else, and possibly both.

Alternatively: You may have to reconsider the direction you are taking and the kind of leadership you are offering yourself with your choices and goals. Something about your vision and ambitions may be off-track -- either in the intensity with which you are pursuing wrong-headed decisions or the lack of commitment you have to your own declared intentions.

Ultimately, you will meet a person who is practical, generous, business-like, able to take on and handle responsibility. She (or he) is prosperous, able to handle money and make sound economic decisions. She is thoughtful, secure, able to deal with the physical side of life. She may have her own successful career or established profession ... or be equally committed and competent at the chores she takes on, whether or not she does them for money.

She is willing to work hard, provides for the physical needs of others without being asked, knows what is needed and automatically supplies that as part of her "job." She is confident, realistic, and sensible She may be a little too involved with "getting useful results" ... or arranging "something that works, that does the job" ... and with the economic considerations of money, the use of resources, and "the bottom line." She may thus seem more hard-edged and hard-headed than soft and sympathetic, but she certainly has her valuable place in the world.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future.
