This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are in circumstances where a lack of money, possessions, or other resources is causing you concern You may also have health or lifestyle issues that need to be addressed and corrected. You may not yet see a good way to compensate for this ... but at least you understand the extent of the problem, and are dealing with it as best you can.

In addition, you are coping with a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This person is wasteful, careless with money, possibly too materialistic or too easily impressed with status symbols. He (or she) is without practical direction, may not show much common sense, may lack "a good head for business," and may be in constant financial distress as a result. This person may also be physically ill -- most likely from poor lifestyle choices.

This is someone who doesn't learn ... even from his own mistakes -- of which there may be plenty to choose from as examples of how not to behave. The attitudes present here are hedonistic, vain, status-conscious, contrary, extravagant, impractical, self-absorbed, and unwilling to listen to the voice of experience.

This may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality you need to confront and correct. You may not feel there is much you can do to correct or compensate for the problems this person or this part of yourself presents, but at this point you at least understand what is going on and are able to confront the matter openly and directly -- for all the good it may do.

Alternatively: You may need to step back, go inward, an reconnect with your own common sense. You may also need to rethink some matter involving your career, business life, or commercial enterprises. You may need to learn some thing you don't know at the moment ... or implement some strategies you have only begun to discover. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person -- or a counter-productive set of attitudes, consider this is the message the card intends to deliver to you now.

You are dealing with significantly changed circumstances ... ones that result from a long process of evolution and development. They are connected to internal changes in you, with a clear relationship between inner changes having caused outer changes ... and outer changes prompting even more inner ones. This shift in the paradigm of your life is still in progress -- but at this point you are able to deal openly and directly with the ramifications. You also understand these new arrangements are influencing to a great extent the ideas you have and the choices you make.

You need to make up your mind, take action, select from the options you've been considering, and set off to chase one or two of the dreams you've been dreaming. This is the point where the brainstorming process ends ... and the elbow grease gets liberally applied. It's time for you to decide to solidify your vision and start accumulating the resources you will need to bring your goals into reality.

Of course, both the dreaming and the doing are important parts of creation. And having the courage to do both is necessary to making genuine progress. You do realize this ... and you are working with this energy openly and directly.

You have an unused asset in your situation. You have reached a point of material stability, professional competence, career recognition, and financial success. You may not be wildly wealthy, but you have steady employment, are able to use your talents and resources to good advantage, and can hold on to what you earn. You are in a profitable, stable situation with solid foundations -- and you will be able to stay there. You may not yet realize this is the case. You may not know if you can trust it. But you do have resources here that you are not using to your own benefit.

Ultimately, you are moving into a resolution that includes restored harmony -- probably following a serious identity crisis. This will have been a time when your faith, your belief in yourself and your competence, and your dedication to your goals was tested. The new situation will offer you greater stability and a change for the better -- despite being unfamiliar.

You will have new routines, better methods and opportunities for growth, a greater sense of personal power, direction, and capability. You will have redefined who you are as a person, the role you play in your own life -- and relationships -- and incorporated the things you have learned about yourself through these recent upsetting experiences.

Ultimately, you will meet someone who will help you work through what is happening here. This person is artistic, creative, well in touch with his (or her) emotions. He has a deep respect for life and living things, and a compassion that enables him to work constructively with less fortunate, dependent people. He is an idealist ... especially when it comes to love and his ability to work with others.

He is charming and enjoys people -- friends and family in particular. He is a dreamer ... and may be something of a mystic. He can help you "find what's in your heart" regarding the matter you are working with. He may also be able to show you the hidden, emotional, or artistic dimensions of your situation.

This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development.
