This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are in a situation where timing problems are a significant factor. You feel delayed, stagnant, blocked and frustrated -- as if you are making no progress and not moving forward at all. You may "start pushing," trying to force something out of impatience ... perhaps unwisely. You may also show a lack of tact and diplomacy. You may feel the need to act out of your own pressures -- or to overcome the opposition you face. However, your anger and impulsiveness may backfire.

You may find you are trying to move in the wrong direction. This energy suggests ruthless, impulsive, ill-advised action. You may be pushing for a result prematurely, or "getting ahead of yourself," not understanding what you're doing or where you are going, or moving in the wrong direction. However, this card also suggests timidity and ill-advised hesitation. So you may not be pushing something that requires more decisive action to break the stalemate.

This is a confusing, "mixed message" situation ... where you almost have to "go against your impulse" in order to do what is best -- to wait when you want to get going ... and "force the issue" when you are inclined to hold back. The ambivalence and lack of clarity itself may be a problem, and the accumulation of your past tactics, choices, and viewpoints may have contributed quite a bit to the current aggravation.

A fair amount of money or professional success are both available to you in this situation, and you are finally able to apply this asset to your own benefit.

Your situation contains a person who is honorable, trustworthy, self-confident, and likeable. This is someone who renders sound judgments, has strong personal values, knows who she (or he!!) is and what she stands for. She is dignified, decisive, competent ... and knows how to support the growth and development of others as well as direct her own evolutionary path with wisdom and integrity.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this asset readily at hand, and can apply it to your own benefit whenever you choose. It is having a considerable and positive influence on your thinking and decisions now.

You need to step back, go inward, pause, surrender to the "inevitable," and listen to the counsel of your Inner Self. You are in circumstances that require you to have faith and patience, to accept "being in limbo" for a while, and to suspend decisions and actions while you wait for a better sense of direction ... and the lifting of the fog and confusion that now envelops you. This is a time to seek inner wisdom, to reverse your usual perspectives on life, to find a way to "look at your situation differently."

Things unseen are unfolding beneath the surface of your life that will require you take another view of something you've been seeing too narrowly up til now. You need to adopt other opinions, see your world and choices differently, release what is familiar -- and let something new come into being. Keep an open mind -- and be ready to accept intuitive advice and "other possibilities" as they present themselves.

You are at a crossroads, a time of transition and waiting. Be still for now, meditate, ponder, reflect -- and consider your next move, but take your time acting in response to what will come into your life at this time. By now, the option of waiting and having patience may not be such a problem for you as it was in the beginning. You may realize the wisdom of this "strategy of inertia.' You are consciously willing to "wait and see what happens next."

You are being forced to confront a serious loss or bitter disappointment, something you may have tried hard not to acknowledge. This may involve circumstances of ruin, defeat, betrayal, failure, -- even to the point of being "stabbed in the back."

This is an energy of severe trouble and misfortune -- bringing extreme unhappiness, suffering, sorrow, frustration, and anguish. It may involve irreplaceable losses, a crisis of faith, and a sense of the world collapsing around you. It may represent the complete destruction of something you have counted on and worked for -- possibly because you have been acting on bad information or trusting the wrong people.

The upshot here is likely total devastation from which the only choice is "starting over." You may finally realize the extent of this ... and be working with it as best you can. You may, however, feel unable to compensate for or cope with these challenges in any way that makes a difference.

Soon, you will have to confront a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This may involve a person who takes too many foolish chances with money, who is wasteful with resources, who often shows addictive behavior, or who is physically ill.

He (or she) may be powerful in your career, business, or financial structures. He may also be "keeping you dependent" for some reason. The attitudes featured here may be dishonesty, shady dealings, "anything for a buck," wastefulness, impracticality, fraudulent ideas and dealings, materialism, workaholism, a lack of scruples, materialism, and an overwhelming concern with status.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected.

Ultimately, you will come to a point where you make up your mind, take action, select from the options you've been considering, and decide to chase one or two of the dreams you've been dreaming. This is the point where the brainstorming process ends ... and the elbow grease gets liberally applied. You decide to solidify your vision and start accumulating the resources you will need to bring your goals into reality.

Of course, both the dreaming and the doing are important parts of creation. And having the courage to do both is necessary to making genuine progress.
