This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are able to make choices and take action. Circumstances may be forcing a move -- or you may just need to do something to break a feeling of impasse and "getting nowhere." At this point, this energy is out in the open ... and you are able to confront its urgings openly and directly.

Additionally, you are dealing with a lot of impatience. You may be making or have recently made some moves that were not well-considered and which do not have the support you need to make the most of the changes they bring. You could also be letting other people dominate your thinking and "make your decisions for you."

You are not considering your options, possibilities, responsibilities, resources, or abilities in ways that offer you the full range of available potentials. You may, instead, be kicking up misunderstandings, opposition ... or at the least a lack of cooperation from those you need to help you succeed in this present venture. You may also be coping with a lot of mixed messages and your own ambivalence.

As long as things are jumbled as they are regarding this energy of "missing alliances and no support," you might be wise to pause and wait for things to clear before proceeding. Right now you are not heading toward a successful result or the advantageous use of what you are working with.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you have decided to "go back to the drawing board" in terms of partners and allies, outside resources, or your own mixed feelings on this matter and try to reorganize this part of your situation into something more cohesive. There may not be much difference showing in the outside world yet, but you are making some important inner changes and behind the scenes adjustments that will be better in the long run.

If this meaning resonates strongly with you regarding your present situation, consider that it also is a message the card is suggesting for you to receive.

You have reached a time of at least temporary peace on this matter ... where problems and arrangements have been ironed out enough for you to get some rest -- and think about other things for a while. It might be a good idea to retreat, regroup, pull back, go inward for a while, and rebalance yourself and your priorities. You probably could use a little solitude, and at this point you are able to make this choice consciously and deliberately. You also realize the benefits this could offer you. This option affects your thinking and your choices now ... and applying it well has your full attention.

You have a valuable asset in your situation. This person is practical, generous, business-like, able to take on and handle responsibility. She (or he) is prosperous, able to handle money and make sound economic decisions. She is thoughtful, secure, able to deal with the physical side of life. She may have her own successful career or established profession ... or be equally committed and competent at the chores she takes on, whether or not she does them for money.

She is willing to work hard, provides for the physical needs of others without being asked, knows that is needed and automatically supplies that as part of her "job." She is confident, realistic, and sensible She may be a little too involved with "getting useful results" ... or arranging "something that works, that does the job" ... and with the economic considerations of money, the use of resources, and "the bottom line." She may thus seem more hard-edged and hard-headed than soft and sympathetic, but she certainly has her valuable place in the world.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this resource easily at hand and can use it now to your own best advantage.

A problematic personality or attitude, someone negative, sarcastic, sly, critical, opinionated, argumentative, and undisciplined poses considerable problems for you. This person is superficial, untrustworthy, and uncooperative ... a trouble-maker and a know-it-all. He or she either triggers these attitudes in you ... or you, too, are part of the problem.

These elements and responses may be part of your personality that you need to handle more productively. You may be coping with the results of "bad news" ... or you may be coping with the fact you've been working at cross-purposes with yourself. You may not have found a good way to compensate for or neutralize this yet.

Soon, you'll be coping with adversity, obstacles, and possibly a lack of preparation for what you have undertaken. To complicate matters, however, you are not fighting for what is right, not standing up for yourself, remaining weak and vulnerable, and bending under the considerable pressure of your circumstances. You may be dealing with a problem you thought was already "solved."

You may also be letting yourself be bullied or "run over." You will be overwhelmed, dealing with circumstances you aren't really ready to face, and may be blind-sided before long because you are trying to "be nice," make excuses, or "look the other way."

Ultimately, you will meet someone who will help you work through what is happening here. This person is artistic, creative, well in touch with his (or her) emotions. He has a deep respect for life and living things, and a compassion that enables him to work constructively with less fortunate, dependent people. He is an idealist ... especially when it comes to love and his ability to work with others.

He is charming and enjoys people -- friends and family in particular. He is a dreamer ... and may be something of a mystic. He can help you "find what's in your heart" regarding the matter you are working with. He may also be able to show you the hidden, emotional, or artistic dimensions of your situation.

This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development.
