This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are in a situation where your inclination is to accept shallow, surface answers, where "appearances" are all that matters -- or all that you believe. This is an energy of self-deception, not listening to your feelings and intuition, acting from conceit and pride. It may be too easy to rationalize away what you really know to be true. You may not really dig for deeper answers.

You may also be dealing with people who are one-sided, closed-minded, insensitive, and concerned with keeping up an image. They may provoke some of the same responses in you -- or you may be contributing your fair share all along.

You may wind up making wrong choices, acting irrationally from deep-seated fears and phobias, unable to make decisions you can trust, and unable to see the real issues clearly. You may pull inward for self-protection ... and be loath to take any risks -- because you don't know what to believe.

This is the result of not following your own instincts, of not listening to the wisdom of your heart, of contradicting your own conscience and inner wisdom, and of not being true to yourself. It's a mighty high price to pay.

You are coping with someone who has a very impaired sense of self-discipline and a suspicious sense of morality. He may be known for running his "con games" ... both literal and emotional as a tactic for manipulating people and getting his own way. He is dishonest, shady, and out to feather his own nest. He may also be given to addictive habits and patterns. He is always looking for his own advantage ... and that may be all he's interested in.

He will compromise his conscience for gain ... and the exploitation of others. He takes advantage of people's generosity and compassion ... and manipulates them by appealing to their guilt, pity, or their own ideals and better natures. He is very troubled emotionally -- and while he may put on a good front, his personal life is chaotic and undisciplined.

He may make a big show of "helping other people" ... when he should be paying attention to -- and working on -- his own problems. He may play up his "sensitive and caring nature" ... and the fact that his feelings can be easily hurt -- as a way of gaining control over others. The fact is, he is closed, manipulative, and stingy. The sympathy and help he offers is usually bogus ... and the support he tenders will collapse if others really lean on him ... or try to rely on what he offers.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected, that have come to the fore for attention or adjustment.

You need to step back, go inward, pause, surrender to the "inevitable," and listen to the counsel of your Inner Self. You are in circumstances that require you to have faith and patience, to accept "being in limbo" for a while, and to suspend decisions and actions while you wait for a better sense of direction ... and the lifting of the fog and confusion that now envelops you.

This is a time to seek inner wisdom, to reverse your usual perspectives on life, to find a way to "look at your situation differently." Things unseen are unfolding beneath the surface of your life that will require you take another view of something you've been seeing too narrowly up til now.

You need to adopt other opinions, see your world and choices differently, release what is familiar -- and let something new come into being. Keep an open mind -- and be ready to accept intuitive advice and "other possibilities" as they present themselves.

You are at a crossroads, a time of transition and waiting. Be still for now, meditate, ponder, reflect -- and consider your next move, but take your time acting in response to what will come into your life at this time.

By now, the option of waiting and having patience may not be such a problem for you as it was in the beginning. You may realize the wisdom of this "strategy of inertia.' You are consciously willing to "wait and see what happens next." This is a conscious part of your thinking.

You are in a situation of chaos and confusion where you are not thinking clearly or realistically. You may be pushing your ideas at the wrong time or in the wrong way. You are not getting the results you want ... or the respect you think you deserve. You may not know what you believe ... or even what to think at this point.

You may not be telling -- or receiving -- the truth about your circumstances. You may be acting on a bad idea or misinformation. You or someone influential in your situation may not be communicating well. You or someone influential in your situation may have a bad attitude.

You may also face serious challenges to some idea you are working with. You do, however, realize what is going on here ... and are able to work with the problems of this energy directly and openly.

You are dealing with a personality or a set of attitudes that can be quite positive and helpful. This person is "successful" in the conventional career and financial sense of that word.

He (or she) is a business person, and entrepreneur ... someone who may have sacrificed a great deal for the commercial and professional status he enjoys today. He enjoys staying busy. He sets a practical example for others regarding wealth and the use of material resources -- but he may have neglected his emotional side in pursuit of public honor and regard.

He is a provider, an achiever, someone who enjoys prosperity ... and life's worldly pleasures. He is reliable, steady, solid, even-tempered, conventional practical, and analytical. He places emphasis on efficiency, reality, and having good "business sense." He believes in conservative, old-fashioned values and watching out for "the bottom line."

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that have come to the forefront to help you develop it further. You may not fully know how to apply this resource to good advantage -- or you may not be doing it for some reason. This energy, however, is definitely something you could use more to your benefit than you are at the moment.

You are heading for a situation that contains heartbreak, sorrow, abuse, setbacks, and shattered emotions. This situation may also hold a lack of appreciation, betrayal, injury, separation, grief, and terrible disappointment. While on the surface this energy represents the heart and head at odds with one another ... the reality is often extremely painful.

Far more upsetting than your thoughts telling you one thing and your heart another, this energy usually contains disbelief that you have been treated so badly by someone you care for ... and the realization that you have to get over loving and needing someone who could hurt you this way.

This energy is that of being victimized, harmed, even brutalized physically or emotionally. It may also indicate you have done this to somebody else ... but either way there are karmic liabilities being formed here -- and the eventual, inevitable backlash may be pretty severe.

Ultimately, you will reach a situation where you are spinning your wheels, running around in circles, putting in huge amounts of effort and energy -- and achieving no progress whatsoever. This energy is one of intense, disorganized action, strife, and confusion. It also represents an identity crisis -- not knowing who you are or what you "role" in this situation is, needing to fight for your rights and position -- but maybe not being willing or able to do so.

You may face a loss of security, harmony, and privacy. You may not have a good sense of yourself or your competence in this situation. You may feel very ambivalent and internally divided. You may face numerous, complicated, and confusing options and choices. This is an arrangement of extreme discomfort with yourself and your situation. It contains energies that speak of arguments, rivalry, agitation, conflict, disagreements, and divided opinions.
