This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You have renewed your emotional engagement with life. There are new interests -- or new dimensions of old ones -- available to you. You have new momentum, a new sense of ambition, new goals, new desires, or a new sense of direction after being stuck in a period of complacency, contemplation, inactivity, or even mild boredom. This new growth step has your full attention now ... and you are able to enjoy the benefits of its encouragement.

You need "more action" in your life, a revitalized drive to accomplish something, and the opportunity for new challenges, relationships, excitements projects, opportunities, commitments, and interests -- and you know it. It's time to move on again, and emerge from this place of rest, contentment, and even boredom, and you know it.

Additionally, you have reached a significant conclusion to regarding this experience and are judging the work here complete and successful. There is a sense of release, renewal, and the ability to change your focus to another set of challenges -- complete with the new personal wisdom you've acquired. You are satisfied with your decisions and what you have accomplished. The eventual results here may, in fact, accrue to you as positive karma. At this point, you realize you are at completion.

You are in a condition of waiting, listening, indecision, and stasis. This may be a fairly tense time of ambivalence, hanging fire, or feeling you have reached an impasse. Or you may be waiting to see what happens in a situation of stalemate ... where there is no clear winner, no clear victory, and no clear path regarding how to break out of this arrangement.

You could be waiting for direction, waiting for new inspiration, looking for "a sign" about what to do next. You may also be checking your own priorities and options ... or listening to advice and counsel -- both inner and outer. You may be taking in different ideas, considering other points of view, hearing dissent and cautions -- as well as support and agreement.

You may know you need to make an important decision, but postpone action in order to examine both sides of the issue. This is a time of being quiet, pausing, being passive, keeping an open mind, considering your next move, and sorting out what you really think from all the information you are receiving.

Although you may not be moving forward at the moment ... you understand that using this strategy to your own advantage, choosing your own time, and making sure you are in possession of all the proper facts, could be vital to the successful resolution of your issue.

This matter has your full attention at the moment, and is having considerable impact on your thinking and choices.

You are coping with a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists, but at least this situation is out in the open where you can recognize it and work with it directly and honestly.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.

If the description of the difficult personality above doesn't seem to fit your circumstances, or if this interpretation resonates more emphatically with the situation you are handling, then consider this to be the message the card is offering you.

You have an unused asset in your situation. You are in a place of wealth, stability, comfort, and security ... where you have a comfortable lifestyle and all the resources you need -- at least temporarily, but you don't realize it for some reason -- or you don't trust it ... or you aren't applying it to your own benefit.

Soon, you will encounter a personality or a set of attitudes that can be quite positive and helpful. This person is "successful" in the conventional career and financial sense of that word.

He (or she) is a business person, and entrepreneur ... someone who may have sacrificed a great deal for the commercial and professional status he enjoys today. He enjoys staying busy. He sets a practical example for others regarding wealth and the use of material resources -- but he may have neglected his emotional side in pursuit of public honor and regard.

He is a provider, an achiever, someone who enjoys prosperity ... and life's worldly pleasures. He is reliable, steady, solid, even-tempered, conventional practical, and analytical. He places emphasis on efficiency, reality, and having good "business sense." He believes in conservative, old-fashioned values and watching out for "the bottom line."

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that have come to the forefront to help you develop it further. This energy is an asset you can readily use to good advantage.

Ultimately, you are heading for a resolution that contains heartbreak, sorrow, abuse, setbacks, and shattered emotions. This situation may also hold a lack of appreciation, betrayal, injury, separation, grief, and terrible disappointment. While on the surface this energy represents the heart and head at odds with one another ... the reality is often extremely painful.

Far more upsetting than your thoughts telling you one thing and your heart another, this energy usually contains disbelief that you have been treated so badly by someone you care for ... and the realization that you have to get over loving and needing someone who could hurt you this way.

This energy is that of being victimized, harmed, even brutalized physically or emotionally. It may also indicate you have done this to somebody else ... but either way there are karmic liabilities being formed here -- and the eventual, inevitable backlash may be pretty severe.
