This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Your situation contains a personality or a set of attitudes that can be quite positive and helpful. This person is most definitely in charge of his own happiness and his creative potentials. He (or she) is not afraid to express deep feelings ... or to display his creative, sensitive, artistic temperament.

This is a person who gives strength and radiates faith and confidence in what he feels and believes. The attitudes on display here are loyalty, commitment, a sense of "family solidarity," generosity, empathy, consideration, and dedication to the support and protection of loved ones.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that have come to the forefront to help you develop it further.

You are coping with someone who does not react well to having his ideas challenged or his opinions questioned. He (or she) is very forceful in his thinking ... but also very closed-minded and rigid. He may blame others rather than seek solutions, fail to show leadership, and fail to accept responsibility for the problems he creates with his attitudes ... and manner.

He is stern, strict, cruel, unjust, and uncaring. He may trigger these same responses in you -- or this energy may well be an inner part of you that comes to the surface to be noticed and adjusted. You may not see a good way to neutralize or compensate for the problems this person causes -- but at least the matter is out in the open where you can deal with its stresses honestly. You are very aware of the influence this is injecting into your situation.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own thinking, opinions, and the way you express your ideas. You may be acting on wrong information. Your prejudices or a serious misunderstanding of the facts could be having too much influence on your thinking. You may be pushing your opinions too hard and alienating others from considering your views objectively. You may realize you've been too one-sided in your thinking or that you haven't been listening well.

You may have decided to pull back for a while and reconsider some of your stronger views and the way you express them that could actually be either misguided ... or hurting your own cause. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You are able to take charge of your circumstances ... and your life ... and exercise the power, control, and "governing" functions that are truly your right to claim and your responsibility to fulfill. This is a powerful energy of self-mastery, self-control, and achievement. You are in control, giving direction, demanding respect, and exercising wise and proper authority. You understand the advantages this offers you. This has your full attention now ... and a considerable impact on your viewpoints and your choices.

You are able to engage emotionally with life again. There are new interests -- or new dimensions of old ones -- available to you. You have new momentum, a new sense of ambition, new goals, new desires, or a new sense of direction after being stuck in a period of complacency, contemplation, inactivity, or even mild boredom. At least now point you can work consciously with this new growth step ... and enjoy the benefits of its encouragement.

You need "more action" in your life, a revitalized drive to accomplish something, and the opportunity for new challenges, relationships, excitements projects, opportunities, commitments, and interests -- and you know it. It's time to move on again, and emerge from this place of rest, contentment, and even boredom, and now you can at least work consciously with this rising tide of possibility.

A major stumbling block you face, however, appears to be a person does not accept opposition well, who isn't overly helpful or sympathetic, who may have the idea that his way is the only way. Attitudes of intolerance, self-righteousness, narrow-mindedness, and willful dominance pollute the atmosphere ... coming either from you or from someone else, and possibly both. This may be having more of a destructive influence than you realize at the moment.

Alternatively: You may have to reconsider the direction you are taking and the kind of leadership you are offering yourself with your choices and goals. Something about your vision and ambitions may be off-track -- either in the intensity with which you are pursuing wrong-headed decisions or the lack of commitment you have to your own declared intentions.

Ultimately, you are moving into a resolution that includes restored harmony -- probably following a serious identity crisis. This will have been a time when your faith, your belief in yourself and your competence, and your dedication to your goals was tested. The new situation will offer you greater stability and a change for the better -- despite being unfamiliar.

You will have new routines, better methods and opportunities for growth, a greater sense of personal power, direction, and capability. You will have redefined who you are as a person, the role you play in your own life -- and relationships -- and incorporated the things you have learned about yourself through these recent upsetting experiences.

Ultimately you are moving into circumstances where the lack of money is a problem ... and the stress of financial anxiety may be serious enough to cause physical symptoms. This condition is temporary -- but it can still cause you some tension.
