This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are in a situation where impatience and wasted effort are very much part of the arrangement. The energy here "keeps pushing" ... instead of stepping back and listening to what might be good advice, intuition, or the offering of better options. You may be determined to make something happen your way. Or you may not want to use other strategies and alternatives -- even though they exist and might be far more effective than the ones you're so fond of.

This energy also indicates you are indulging in fantasies, grudges, paranoia, illusions, escapism, and / or procrastination. You are stuck and stalled -- or not willing to let go and move on -- regardless of whether or not this is getting you the results you want and need. You may be choosing not to rock the boat -- but for all the wrong reasons. You may be refusing to make a necessary decision. You are letting your own hang-ups blind you to all viewpoints except your own.

Additionally, the lack of joy in your situation, the blocked emotional fulfillment, frustration, and depression are all too evident. You may be facing a lack of real love, manipulation of yourself or others "in the name of love," and a deep sense of genuine unhappiness. You are not doing anything you enjoy.

You don't trust your situation -- or the conditions in it. You feel you lack the necessary support of others around you ... and the basic pleasures you have a right to expect. You may feel unwanted, abandoned, deceived, unsupported, and unable to offer love and support to others. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be "taking and using" -- and that will exhaust everyone concerned before long.

In thinking through your choices on this situation, you need to withdraw from the stresses of the outside world, take some time for yourself, and seek the greater comfort and counsel of your own Inner Self. This should be a time of active spiritual seeking, of discovering life's meaning in terms of your own spiritual truth, of seeking your own direction and listening to your inner counsel. It should also be a time of creative visualization, of absorbing wisdom, of gaining greater insight, and setting personal goals.

You need to use this strategy for your own gain now, and realize it is available to you. Your compass at this point needs to center on the dedication to do what is right and true for you, be open-minded, quiet, and observant, to enjoy the comfort of your solitude, and stabilize yourself and your expanding wisdom in the serenity available to you now.

This is a period of valuing your own time and space, of experiencing your own self-awareness, and having the patience to be tolerant, introspective, and questioning all at the same time. It is a time of contemplation ... and of drawing conclusions from the accumulated wisdom of your own life's experience. From this will come the knowledge you need to make the proper decisions. The influence this has on your thinking and choices now is substantial ... and positive.

You are able to engage emotionally with life again. There are new interests -- or new dimensions of old ones -- available to you. You have new momentum, a new sense of ambition, new goals, new desires, or a new sense of direction after being stuck in a period of complacency, contemplation, inactivity, or even mild boredom. At least now point you can work consciously with this new growth step ... and enjoy the benefits of its encouragement.

You need "more action" in your life, a revitalized drive to accomplish something, and the opportunity for new challenges, relationships, excitements projects, opportunities, commitments, and interests -- and you know it. It's time to move on again, and emerge from this place of rest, contentment, and even boredom, and now you can at least work consciously with this rising tide of possibility.

You are in a situation where your inclination is to accept shallow, surface answers, where "appearances" are all that matters -- or all that you believe. This is an energy of self-deception, not listening to your feelings and intuition, acting from conceit and pride. It may be too easy to rationalize away what you really know to be true. You may not really dig for deeper answers.

You may also be dealing with people who are one-sided, closed-minded, insensitive, and concerned with keeping up an image. They may provoke some of the same responses in you -- or you may be contributing your fair share all along.

You may wind up making wrong choices, acting irrationally from deep-seated fears and phobias, unable to make decisions you can trust, and unable to see the real issues clearly. You may pull inward for self-protection ... and be loath to take any risks -- because you don't know what to believe.

This is the result of not following your own instincts, of not listening to the wisdom of your heart, of contradicting your own conscience and inner wisdom, and of not being true to yourself. It's a mighty high price to pay, but you may not realize this is happening, you may not see a way to end or compensate for this problem, ... or you may be in deep denial about how much it will ultimately cost you.

A fair amount of money or professional success or both are on the way to you. You may, in fact, draw a certain level of financial experience to a close ... with considerable money to go around, and a nice feeling of accomplishment to boost your morale.

Ultimately, you will encounter a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes.. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.
