This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are unhappy, dissatisfied, let down, disappointed, and emotionally exhausted. This could, in fact, be a fairly serious time of sadness and emotional ruin.

You have a helpful person or a very beneficial set of attitudes in your situation. This person is introspective -- but may have a very upbeat and enthusiastic personality. He is interested in learning who he is and what his "mission in life" may be about. He has ambition and charisma. He is learning to make his mark on the world ... even if through the sheer force of his personality -- which may be substantial.

This person is energetic, volatile, impulsive, and likes to stir up excitement. He is outgoing, generous, innovative, competitive, positive, and bold. He is interested in becoming all he can be -- and is a natural leader, although he may be relatively "new" at the tasks that occupy him at the moment.

He will clearly have the potential to "get noticed" and develop a following. He takes risks, shows determination, is always up for "learning more" ... and may be willing to "try anything once."

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. You are, however, aware of its presence ... and are able to make direct use of the benefits it brings. It may also represent good news about something you are trying to accomplish or become -- something which offers you the encouragement you've been looking for and enables you to go forward.

You are in a time of reckoning and resolution in this matter. There will be a rebalancing of the Cosmic Scales ... and a sense of justice and equilibrium restored. There may be somehow a sense of a "fair verdict" delivered, or "judgment rendered," or some other kind of legally binding or contractual arrangement that formalizes this closure.

This is a time of being centered, truthful, diplomatic, honest, fair, and grounded. It may involve mediating some dispute ... or reaching conditions of cooperation and compromise. You may understand how this is influencing your decisions, choices, and viewpoints ... and are giving this matter the careful attention it needs.

You are in a situation where you are failing to take charge of your circumstances ... and your life, conditions where you are either pushing too hard or not exercising your rightful authority in the choices and directions of your own life. You may be dealing with energy that is tyrannical, controlling, domineering, and abusive. You may also be wasting opportunities and not building anything constructive at this point.

This card's energy can also mean someone in your situation (possibly you yourself) are being lazy and indifferent ... drifting when you ought to be doing ... or at least paying better attention. You are not exercising proper self-discipline or self-control. You ... or someone influential in your situation ... may want success without doing the necessary work. You also may be dealing with negative or unethical motives.

You suffer overall from a lack of courage, determination, leadership, and action. You may be mismanaging an important situation ... and making no progress. You ... or someone in this situation ... may be displaying or coping with toxic ego issues, interested only in self-advancement or self-promotion. You may also be coping somehow with delusions of grandeur ... or a complete lack of integrity, ability, and ambition.

You are facing circumstances where the lack of money is a problem ... and the stress of financial anxiety may be serious enough to cause physical symptoms. This condition is temporary -- but it can still cause you some tension.

You may not have a good way to compensate for this at the moment. You may be in denial about just how serious your situation is ... or how much it is affecting you, but you will soon have to confront this problem more directly. This card also suggests you are resisting some necessary lifestyle changes, and this is hampering you now more than you realize.

Soon, you will have to cope with a problem personality -- or set of attitudes. This person is domineering, obstinate, vengeful, cruel. She (or he!) places too much emphasis on her own image -- and is insecure in this identity. She is insincere, shallow, condescending, jealous ... and may pick at or find fault with others in order to undermine their confidence. This may be a tactic to build up her own flagging or unsteady self-image.

Her attitudes are demanding, petty, rigid, vain, lacking in compassion and sympathy. She is narrow-minded, bitter, controlling, ruthlessly competitive, and angry. This person is self-absorbed, self-centered, and may be given to "ambushing" people -- as a tactic for gaining power.

This may, indeed, be another person you have to cope with -- or it may be an inner personality of yours that is causing trouble, and that has come to the surface now so you can confront and correct its counterproductive effects.

You are moving toward a resolution that includes adequate recognition and compensation for the services you perform and the work you do. It is a condition of achievement and competence ... where you receive what you have earned, including appreciation and financial payment. You are working on something that will serve you well in the future -- and acquiring the skills and assets you need to improve yourself and your circumstances. You will be able to take pride in your accomplishments and the reputation you have because of them.
