A "personality" is at the center of your situation presently. This person is interested in his own self-development and firm in his personal identity. His integrity is sound. He can be counted on to deliver truth and honesty. When he's around, he makes a definite impression. He is individualistic, very much his own person ... and wants to be where the action is.

He has unmistakable personal charisma, and considers himself a leader -- but he can be a little too pushy for some people's taste. He simply knows how to get things done -- and isn't shy about doing whatever it takes to achieve his goals. He is energetic, intense, impulsive and always "on the go," or "in a hurry."

He can be impetuous, vigorous, enthusiastic, restless, and competitive. He loves adventure, and he loves winning. He also loves life -- and plays the game of it exceedingly well. He is brave, self-aware, confident and dramatic. He is demonstrative, outgoing, warm, generous ... and wants to "shine". He most definitely wants to be noticed.

He may also be able to show you where your own leadership and initiative will benefit the circumstances of your situation. This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development. You understand how to work with this asset -- and are able to do so openly and directly.

You are able to make choices and take action. Circumstances may be forcing a move -- or you may just need to do something to break a feeling of impasse and "getting nowhere." At this point, this energy is out in the open ... and you are able to confront its urgings openly and directly.

You are in a situation that is confused, stalled, frustrating, blocked, and which doesn't let you live up to your potential. A lack of leadership, vision, personal commitment, and no overall sense of objectives or direction hinders any further growth or progress for the moment.

You may be caught in a sequence of false starts, misdirected energy, setbacks, delays, obstacles, and helplessness. You may also be dealing with uncooperative attitudes from others ... and from life itself. You are wasting yourself on this merry-go-round ... and wasting your time, resources, and abilities. You're just not getting anywhere ... until you make some changes to whatever is causing this inertia. Consider that at least part of the problem likely is you.

Realize, too, how much this stagnation affects your thinking, your choices, and your ability to make good decisions. You may have a defeatist attitude or be working with ideas that are "never going to get off the ground." In any case, this energy is having considerable impact on your outlook at the moment, and you need to correct what you can -- or find ways to compensate for the lack of vitality present here. The sooner, the better -- even if that means backing up and starting over again from scratch.

You are dealing with a lot of impatience. You may be making or have recently made some moves that were not well-considered and which do not have the support you need to make the most of the changes they bring. You could also be letting other people dominate your thinking and "make your decisions for you."

You are not considering your options, possibilities, responsibilities, resources, or abilities in ways that offer you the full range of available potentials. You may, instead, be kicking up misunderstandings, opposition ... or at the least a lack of cooperation from those you need to help you succeed in this present venture. You may also be coping with a lot of mixed messages and your own ambivalence.

As long as things are jumbled as they are regarding this energy of "missing alliances and no support," you might be wise to pause and wait for things to clear before proceeding. Right now you are not heading toward a successful result or the advantageous use of what you are working with. About the best that can be said for this card's energy is that you recognize the problem for what it is ... and can deal honestly and directly with the trouble it causes you.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you have decided to "go back to the drawing board" in terms of partners and allies, outside resources, or your own mixed feelings on this matter and try to reorganize this part of your situation into something more cohesive. There may not be much difference showing in the outside world yet, but you are making some important inner changes and behind the scenes adjustments that will be better in the long run.

If this meaning resonates strongly with you regarding your present situation, consider that it also is a message the card is suggesting for you to receive.

You have an unused asset in your situation. It is time to make a new beginning, construct a new vision of what you want to accomplish -- or become, or launch a new start buoyed on a new sense of self-confidence and new opportunities. This may involve a new sense of who you are, new ways of honoring and "being true" to yourself, new purposes, and new goals.

You need to embrace new energy and enthusiasm ... and know you are going in the right direction and stepping up to a new level of personal development and achievements. You may not yet know this resource is available to you ... or how to make the best use of it. This is something you need to consider carefully -- and assess soon to use to your own advantage.

Soon, you will discover "a better idea," a new philosophical perspective, a new vision. You will use greater insight and intelligence ... being "smarter" than you used to be. This may involve both new information and a new educational opportunity. You will be able to get your points across, communicate well, and see your issues more clearly.

This is a time of creative visualization, new plans, powerful new uses of your own mental energy, and "knowing the right answers." Expect to feel intellectually compatible with your directions ... and know you have finally "gotten the message."

Ultimately, you are moving toward a resolution that leaves you unhappy, dissatisfied, let down, disappointed, and emotionally exhausted. It could, in fact, be a fairly serious time of sadness and emotional ruin -- depending on the gravity of this original situation.
