A "personality" is at the center of your situation presently. This person is interested in his own self-development and firm in his personal identity. His integrity is sound. He can be counted on to deliver truth and honesty. When he's around, he makes a definite impression. He is individualistic, very much his own person ... and wants to be where the action is.

He has unmistakable personal charisma, and considers himself a leader -- but he can be a little too pushy for some people's taste. He simply knows how to get things done -- and isn't shy about doing whatever it takes to achieve his goals. He is energetic, intense, impulsive and always "on the go," or "in a hurry."

He can be impetuous, vigorous, enthusiastic, restless, and competitive. He loves adventure, and he loves winning. He also loves life -- and plays the game of it exceedingly well. He is brave, self-aware, confident and dramatic. He is demonstrative, outgoing, warm, generous ... and wants to "shine". He most definitely wants to be noticed.

He may also be able to show you where your own leadership and initiative will benefit the circumstances of your situation. This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development. You understand how to work with this asset -- and are able to do so openly and directly.

You feel self-indulgent, lazy, out of focus, and stagnant. Your creativity is on hold. You are drifting emotionally. There is a loss of connection in your social life, friendships, and relationships.

You need new interests, new opportunities for growth, new projects to excite your soul. You and others take each other for granted. You are unsatisfied with the love and support available to you. You feel friendless and isolated ... and while you may put on a good front -- that's what it is. A front.

You are in a situation where there is "no victory" or where the success you are aiming for just isn't coming together properly. Possibly the success you gained isn't the one you thought you wanted. This card may reflect a lack of commitment to your own goals ... or self-sabotaging habits that are costing you more than you realize. You may also be in denial about just how powerful these effects are ... and how much damage these influences are causing ... which doesn't help you at all in your efforts to cope with or correct them.

This "no win" attitude is having a significant impact on your ideas, thinking, opinions, and views at the moment. It is also influencing the choices you're making ... and may cause you to overlook options that could be helpful ... or make less aggressive decisions than are needed. You're too focused on how you probably won't succeed in your goals. You need to start thinking like a winner.

You are in a place of wealth, stability, comfort, and security ... where you have a comfortable lifestyle and all the resources you need -- at least temporarily. This is an important asset in your situation right now.

You are coping with a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists. You may not realize how much this person ... or these attitudes ... are costing you now. Or you may not see a good way to correct or compensate for them.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.

If the description of the difficult personality above doesn't seem to fit your circumstances, or if this interpretation resonates more emphatically with the situation you are handling, then consider this to be the message the card is offering you.

Soon, you will find yourself in a situation that leaves you feeling overwhelmed, overextended, and stressed out. You may not be coping well physically or financially with the challenges you face. You may not have the assets or resources you need to work through this comfortably or successfully. You may be short on time, energy, stamina, strength, and money.

You will have too much going on. You will not be able to stretch the materials and means you have on hand to cover all the necessary bases. You will be spread too thin ... and even careful budgeting may not compensate for what is lacking. The need for constant adjustment may weigh heavily on you.

Ultimately, you will find allies and a cooperative network of support available to help you with this matter. The resolution to this situation puts you in touch with opportunities for teamwork, advice, and help.
