This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are in a situation where impatience and wasted effort are very much part of the arrangement. The energy here "keeps pushing" ... instead of stepping back and listening to what might be good advice, intuition, or the offering of better options. You may be determined to make something happen your way. Or you may not want to use other strategies and alternatives -- even though they exist and might be far more effective than the ones you're so fond of.

This energy also indicates you are indulging in fantasies, grudges, paranoia, illusions, escapism, and / or procrastination. You are stuck and stalled -- or not willing to let go and move on -- regardless of whether or not this is getting you the results you want and need. You may be choosing not to rock the boat -- but for all the wrong reasons. You may be refusing to make a necessary decision. You are letting your own hang-ups blind you to all viewpoints except your own.

You are spinning your wheels, running around in circles, putting in huge amounts of effort and energy -- and achieving no progress whatsoever. This energy is one of intense, disorganized action, strife, and confusion. It also represents an identity crisis -- not knowing who you are or what you "role" in this situation is, needing to fight for your rights and position -- but maybe not being willing or able to do so.

You may face a loss of security, harmony, and privacy. You may not have a good sense of yourself or your competence in this situation. You may feel very ambivalent and internally divided. You may face numerous, complicated, and confusing options and choices. This is an arrangement of extreme discomfort with yourself and your situation. It contains energies that speak of arguments, rivalry, agitation, conflict, disagreements, and divided opinions.

You face difficult choices because of conflicting needs and elements that don't accommodate one another well at all. You may still need to explore options that aren't readily at hand or apparent, and you may have to find compromises between factors that aren't readily or willingly cooperative with either you ... or each other. You still need to think your way through this challenge very carefully.

You are having to cope with a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This may involve a person who takes too many foolish chances with money, who is wasteful with resources, who often shows addictive behavior, or who is physically ill.

He (or she) may be powerful in your career, business, or financial structures. He may also be "keeping you dependent" for some reason. The attitudes featured here may be dishonesty, shady dealings, "anything for a buck," wastefulness, impracticality, fraudulent ideas and dealings, materialism, workaholism, a lack of scruples, materialism, and an overwhelming concern with status.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected. You may not feel there is much you can do to improve the situation -- but at least you are aware this energy exists, that it is a problem, and that you have to compensate for or correct it somehow.

Alternatively: You may need to look carefully at some ideas and practices you have adopted that affect your economic situation, business prospects, financial management, or the way you acquire and use physical resources -- including your own time and energy. Something here needs to be rethought, reworked, or redirected so as to not grossly mismanage your own opportunities and resources.

If you resonate to this interpretation more than to the presence of a difficult person in your life now, consider that this is the meaning the card is offering for you to hear and heed.

A substantial handicap you need to overcome is the failure to take charge of your circumstances ... and your life, conditions where you are either pushing too hard or not exercising your rightful authority in the choices and directions of your own life. You may be dealing with energy that is tyrannical, controlling, domineering, and abusive. You may also be wasting opportunities and not building anything constructive at this point.

This card's energy can also mean someone in your situation (possibly you yourself) is being lazy and indifferent ... drifting when you ought to be doing something constructive and making discernible progress ... or at least paying better attention. You are not exercising proper self-discipline or self-control. You ... or someone influential in your situation ... may want success without doing the necessary work. You also may be dealing with negative or unethical motives.

You suffer overall from a lack of courage, determination, leadership, and action. You may be mismanaging an important situation ... and making no progress. You ... or someone in this situation ... may be displaying or coping with toxic ego issues, interested only in self-advancement or self-promotion. You may also be coping somehow with delusions of grandeur ... or a complete lack of integrity, ability, and ambition.

You may not see a good way out of this mess ... or how to compensate for the problems it is causing, or you may be in denial that it is happening at all. But it is causing you substantial harm as you work to resolve this issue ... and it needs to be confronted and corrected.

Soon, you will come to a point of material stability, professional competence, career recognition, and financial success. You may not be wildly wealthy, but you have steady employment, are able to use your talents and resources to good advantage, and can hold on to what you earn. You will be in a profitable, stable situation with solid foundations -- and you will be able to stay there.

Ultimately, you are moving into a resolution that involves playing by your own rules, rebelling against the status quo, and doing your own thing instead of just placidly doing as you're told. You may find yourself dealing with unconventional ideas and implementing solutions that show considerable free thinking. In this situation, your independence is paramount ... and you may go to substantial lengths to maintain it, even if this isn't the most popular thing to do.
