This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are working with a significant moment of victory and success.

Additionally, your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him. Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own happiness, your own creative pleasures, and your own "love of living." You could have lost sight of this for some reason ... and need to reconnect to this vital source of emotional support in your own life. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

A problem personality factor is also part of the equation now, someone fussy, complaining, overly sensitive, paranoid, frustrated, and emotionally undisciplined. This person may be often over-wrought and fretful, obsessive, clinging, and demanding of sympathy and support from loved ones -- while offering very little in the way of compassion or even self-control in return. You have finally begun to recognize the problems this person ... or these attitudes ... cause, seeing them at last for what they are.

Alternatively: This card suggests that you need to practice more diligent self-care, be more aware of your own need for love, compassion, and emotional support. Often it comes when life and the demands of those in your relationships have exhausted your resources to the point that you need to pull back, take time out for recuperation, and replenish yourself.

You need to become your own best friend for a while ... and restore yourself to the point that you can be that for others again. This may not happen overnight ... but the fact is, you can't give away what you don't have for yourself in the first place -- and it's time to fortify your inner self, in whatever actions are needed, so that you can become a positive source of support for yourself and those you love ... again.

You are coping with a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists, but at least this situation is out in the open where you can recognize it and work with it directly and honestly.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.

If the description of the difficult personality above doesn't seem to fit your circumstances, or if this interpretation resonates more emphatically with the situation you are handling, then consider this to be the message the card is offering you.

You will soon however, have to cope with a lack in the quality or quantity of support you need to create the vision you have in mind. You may be teamed up with colleagues and allies that simply aren't up to the task at hand. Someone you are depending on may let you down with a thud -- or some crucial element in your creation will not arrive or will not perform as required.

You need to look at the warning signs that tell you trouble is brewing here. You may not yet realize how crippling or problematic this situation is to your progress now.

Soon, you will realize the presence of a powerful intellectual force. This may appear in the form of another person ... someone whose mind is his (or her) most compelling feature, someone who is a fighter, a survivor, who doesn't quit when the going gets tough. This influence, if it comes in another person, is charismatic, influential, authoritative, and wise. He shows great intelligence and originality in his work ... and his counsel is priceless.

He is able to generate a wide range of helpful ideas, thought, concepts and designs. His knowledge is one of his greatest virtues ... and his ability to apply that in practical ways makes him an invaluable counselor and confidante. He may be more rational than sentimental, more hard-headed than soft-hearted, but he does have an important and powerful role to play in your life ... at least temporarily.

He is fair-minded, in command of himself, and able to think his way through tough issues and arrive at workable, moral solutions. He is focused, assertive, shrewd, insightful, and genuine. He is also self-disciplined, articulate, impartial, and philosophical. He will activate some of the best of these qualities in you, and provide an example of how you can grow along these lines, too.

Keep in mind, this energy may exist as a composite of several people ... if you don't see one definite example of this wisdom among your immediate associates. This powerful influence may also be one of your own inner selves that has come to the forefront of your attention to help you ... and itself ... evolve and improve as you work through this issue.

If you don't find this clearly available in another person or people in your outer world, look within. This energy is waiting to meet you there. It is what will attract these others into your life to act as aids and allies if you need them.

Long term, you'll have to cope with a period of "not accomplishing anything constructive," of facing incompetence -- your own or that of others, of being "unprepared" for the problems you're facing, and trying to reorient your values toward "achieving something worthwhile" again.
