This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

The lack of joy in your situation, the blocked emotional fulfillment, frustration, and depression are all too evident. You may be facing a lack of real love, manipulation of yourself or others "in the name of love," and a deep sense of genuine unhappiness. You are not doing anything you enjoy.

You don't trust your situation -- or the conditions in it. You feel you lack the necessary support of others around you ... and the basic pleasures you have a right to expect. You may feel unwanted, abandoned, deceived, unsupported, and unable to offer love and support to others. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be "taking and using" -- and that will exhaust everyone concerned before long.

Additionally, you are in a situation of high anxiety, despair, and emotional upset serious enough to qualify as torment.

You are in a condition of waiting, listening, indecision, and stasis. This may be a fairly tense time of ambivalence, hanging fire, or feeling you have reached an impasse. Or you may be waiting to see what happens in a situation of stalemate ... where there is no clear winner, no clear victory, and no clear path regarding how to break out of this arrangement.

You could be waiting for direction, waiting for new inspiration, looking for "a sign" about what to do next. You may also be checking your own priorities and options ... or listening to advice and counsel -- both inner and outer. You may be taking in different ideas, considering other points of view, hearing dissent and cautions -- as well as support and agreement.

You may know you need to make an important decision, but postpone action in order to examine both sides of the issue. This is a time of being quiet, pausing, being passive, keeping an open mind, considering your next move, and sorting out what you really think from all the information you are receiving.

Although you may not be moving forward at the moment ... you understand that using this strategy to your own advantage, choosing your own time, and making sure you are in possession of all the proper facts, could be vital to the successful resolution of your issue.

This matter has your full attention at the moment, and is having considerable impact on your thinking and choices.

You have come through conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You are now able to see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed.

The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge. The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.

You are in circumstances where money is a problem. This experience may cost you more than you expected, or money you were counting on may evaporate or not arrive, or a lack of resources plays a pivotal part moving things to closure. You need to be cautious and conservative concerning money, financial arrangements, investments, the use of resources and possessions, and your channels of income.

Beware of believing promises that may let you down seriously if they don't materialize. You need to control your expenses ... and know where your money is coming from as well as where it is going. You may not see ways to compensate for or cope with this challenge well. You may also not realize the seriousness of your problem.

Soon, you will reach a place where you once again feel in control of life around you. You will see clearly ... with understanding and wisdom. This may mark an important change in consciousness, viewpoint, or philosophy.

It is a time of enlightenment and restored peace and harmony. It may also accompany a change of attitude, the ability to see things in a more positive light. You will solve your problems by thinking about them differently ... and more rationally.

In time, however, something new will emerge -- or be accomplished -- involving money, possessions, business opportunities, or your professional directions. Something "real" will exist that doesn't at the moment.
