This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

Your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him. Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own happiness, your own creative pleasures, and your own "love of living." You could have lost sight of this for some reason ... and need to reconnect to this vital source of emotional support in your own life. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You have also come to the realization that you "haven't arrived yet" at a destination you've been working toward for quite a while. You may be at the very place where you were originally heading ... but with more experience and perspective, you see it is just an interim stage on the way to a much larger goal.

You may feel let down and dissatisfied, because instead of being at the end!! of this particular endeavor, venture, or project, you are still somewhere in the middle -- with yet more work to accomplish. Another possibility is you've found you've achieved something that no longer suits you ... something you really no longer want or can use. You need a major course correction to set yourself on a more productive path.

You are coping with adversity, obstacles, and possibly a lack of preparation for what you have undertaken. To complicate matters, however, you are not fighting for what is right, not standing up for yourself, remaining weak and vulnerable, and bending under the considerable pressure of your circumstances. You may be dealing with a problem you thought was already "solved."

You may also be allowing yourself to be bullied or "run over." You are overwhelmed, dealing with circumstances you aren't really ready to face, and may be blind-sided before long because you are trying to "be nice," make excuses or "look the other way." You are aware of this problem and the impact it has on your thinking and choices ... and finding solutions to its difficulties and inconveniences are very much on your mind.

You can easily succeed at what you are trying to accomplish. An energy of happiness, contentment, satisfaction, love, harmony, serenity, comfort, and fulfillment is available ... and you understand this.

You are in a situation that is sterile and unsatisfying. These are circumstances where you -- or someone influential in your situation -- is frittering away resources, wasting energy, and courting a whole roster of problems -- physical, financial, emotional, psychological. This situation contains a serious lack of love and support. You may feel rejected, depressed, deprived, and unable to muster the energy to start anything new.

This energy describes a lack of productivity, chaotic circumstances, feelings of emptiness and withdrawal, considerable pain, and the failure to use your creative talents to bring about the desired and necessary changes. You may, however, be in denial about the seriousness of this dilemma. You may feel there isn't much you can to do compensate for or correct the situation. You may not realize that this energy is as prominent as it is. So far, your tactics to resolve this better are ineffective.

Next, you will likely find yourself in a situation that involves confusion, anxiety, and upset. You may not know what to do or what to think. Your direction will be unclear ... and you may have no good answers for the problems that still face you. This energy is the feeling of being "locked in," trapped, unable to accomplish anything to put your troubles behind you. You need to rethink your choices ... and change some of your fundamental attitudes. You may not have information you need ... or some of your thinking may be skewed and unproductive.

In these circumstances, you will feel irritated, exasperated, unable to find meaning -- or clarity. This is the sensation of trying to swim against the current ... and needing to make major adjustments in your opinions, ideas, viewpoints, and intellectual positions.

Ultimately you will reach a time of at least temporary peace on this matter ... where problems and arrangements have been ironed out enough for you to get some rest -- and think about other things for a while. It might be a good idea when this happens to retreat, regroup, pull back, go inward for a while, and rebalance yourself and your priorities. You probably could use a little solitude.
