This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. You have reached a period when it is appropriate to stop, pause, consider, analyze, examine your situation, weigh your options, judge your resources and assets, confirm your allies and partnerships, and test your own desire and determination concerning a new direction that appeals to you or a new venture you have in mind.

You need to compare your visions and ambitions against what is realistic and possible ... to see if you have any substantial flaws caused by your own enthusiasm that you need to consider or correct before you go any farther. This is a time of "going through your check list" ... to make sure everything you need is in place for the journey ahead -- including your own resolve to launch new efforts and see them through to completion.

You need to consider "what it takes to succeed here," get feedback and ideas from others, talk things over, listen to the consultation and advice of people you trust -- and who may be companions on this journey, too. Go over your plans one more time ... and get ready to make your moves.

This time may feel like things are "stopped dead still' and that you are "waiting" for something (which may not be easy if your temperament doesn't take well to the advice that you "hold your horses" and "have a little patience") -- but this is an essential part of a successful venture. Jumping the gun, when a little more time would pay off handsomely, is a terrible waste ... of everything.

You can easily succeed at what you are trying to accomplish. An energy of happiness, contentment, satisfaction, love, harmony, serenity, comfort, and fulfillment is available ... and you understand this.

You have come through conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You are now able to see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed.

The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge. The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.

This happier, more liberated way of life -- and the history behind it -- have significant impact on your thinking and attitudes now. They influence the choices you make ... and you whole way of looking at the world.

You are unhappy, dissatisfied, let down, disappointed, and emotionally exhausted. This could, in fact, be a fairly serious time of sadness and emotional ruin -- and you may not yet know how to overcome or compensate for it, but at least you are aware of your own feelings -- and can work with them directly and honestly.

You have on hand a personality or a set of attitudes that can be quite positive and helpful. This person is most definitely in charge of his own happiness and his creative potentials. He (or she) is not afraid to express deep feelings ... or to display his creative, sensitive, artistic temperament.

This is a person who gives strength and radiates faith and confidence in what he feels and believes. The attitudes on display here are loyalty, commitment, a sense of "family solidarity," generosity, empathy, consideration, and dedication to the support and protection of loved ones. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that have come to the forefront to help you develop it further.

You may not fully know how to apply this resource to good advantage -- or you may not be doing it for some reason. This energy, however, is definitely something you could use more to your benefit than you are at the moment.

Soon, you will find yourself in a situation that leaves you unhappy, dissatisfied, let down, disappointed, and emotionally exhausted. It could, in fact, be a fairly serious time of sadness and emotional ruin -- depending on the gravity of this original situation.

In time, you will reach a resolution where you take charge of your circumstances ... and your life ... and exercise the power, control, and "governing" functions that are truly your right to claim and your responsibility to fulfill. This is a powerful energy of self-mastery, self-control, and achievement. You are in control, giving direction, demanding respect, and exercising wise and proper authority.
