This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You have reached a place of triumph, success, and advancement. You are in control of your life and its ongoing stages of development. You are "in flow," in the right place at the right time, and able to respond to changes and opportunities with balance and poise. This energy is that of success earned by hard work and self-reliance. You know your confidence and optimism are well founded. You also feel centered, positive, energetic, and "in charge."

In addition, you are coping with a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This person is wasteful, careless with money, possibly too materialistic or too easily impressed with status symbols. He (or she) is without practical direction, may not show much common sense, may lack "a good head for business," and may be in constant financial distress as a result. This person may also be physically ill -- most likely from poor lifestyle choices.

This is someone who doesn't learn ... even from his own mistakes -- of which there may be plenty to choose from as examples of how not to behave. The attitudes present here are hedonistic, vain, status-conscious, contrary, extravagant, impractical, self-absorbed, and unwilling to listen to the voice of experience.

This may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality you need to confront and correct. You may not feel there is much you can do to correct or compensate for the problems this person or this part of yourself presents, but at this point you at least understand what is going on and are able to confront the matter openly and directly -- for all the good it may do.

Alternatively: You may need to step back, go inward, an reconnect with your own common sense. You may also need to rethink some matter involving your career, business life, or commercial enterprises. You may need to learn some thing you don't know at the moment ... or implement some strategies you have only begun to discover. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person -- or a counter-productive set of attitudes, consider this is the message the card intends to deliver to you now.

You have a situation that is unfair, unbalanced, unjust -- and this is seriously affecting the way you view your life right now. Someone may have treated you unfairly. You may have been unfair to yourself in order to be fair to somebody else. Possibly you took advantage of a loophole that got you better arrangements than you really deserved -- or you were the victim of this treatment from someone else.

It may take several efforts to resolve this, or perhaps there just is no way to be fair to everyone. You understand the complexities of this situation. You may not be able to correct the problem, but at least it has your attention -- and you realize the impact this has on your opinions and your choices ... for better or worse.

You can easily succeed at what you are trying to accomplish. An energy of happiness, contentment, satisfaction, love, harmony, serenity, comfort, and fulfillment is available ... and you understand this.

You have an tremendously important unused resource in your situation. You are in circumstances of happiness, support, positive relationships, stable emotional conditions, and tremendous satisfaction. Life is reliable, predictable, secure, peaceful, good ... and you should enjoy being here. But, for some reason, you are not applying this to benefit to your own advantage.

This is a time when you ought to be able to rely on your feelings, know what to expect, what you can count on, and who your "friends" are. It may be you simply don't trust your situation enough to know you can turn to this resource as completely as you can.

A time of major change is definitely underway. It may be so preliminary you may not have recognized it yet. You may also be resisting the adjustments that will eventually be necessary. For the moment it is either still so subtle you don't realize its dimensions ... or it is so awesome in its implications you prefer to "look the other way" for a while.

In time, you will redefine some important goals -- perhaps having to do with your financial life or professional direction. Targets you were once aiming to reach won't suit you any more, or you will realize your direction was "off" somehow. You will no longer want what you have been working toward. You may also find you have achieved something that no longer "fits" you. It will be time to make a course correction ... perhaps a substantial one.
