This is a reading on the general conditions of your Life.

You are still working through a time of sorrow or sadness over a relationship that ended or the processing of a serious disappointment. It may be that an important lesson is contained in this experience that will play a part in what unfolds soon.

There is also a "personality problem" on the scene, someone malicious, cruel, sarcastic, intolerant, and prone to use his or her superior mental gifts and hurtful tongue as weapons in a situation of "warfare."

This may be another person ... or this may be a side of your character, brought out into the open as a result of the stress you are enduring.

There is tremendous anger in this person -- and great destructive potential -- but at least they are "out in the open" now where you can face them directly, instead of having constantly to watch your back and wonder what's going on behind the scenes.

Alternatively: This card can mean that you have decided to step back, go inward, and consult your Inner Scholar about the best course of action to take ... and how to handle the challenges you are facing at the moment. If you resonate more to this meaning than to the presence of a difficult personality or counterproductive attitude such as those described above, it is likely this is the suggestion the card has for you now -- to help you deal with this energy more productively.

You have an important asset in your situation. You have arrangements that are very much in line with who you are as a spiritual being, able to make choices that will help you fulfill your intentions and destiny, and that will advance your personal development to a new level of experience and competence.

These circumstances contain faith, trust, optimism, a sense of fresh beginnings, and a grand feeling of confidence that you know who you are, what you can do, what you want to accomplish, and that you are on the right path.

At this point, you should be willing to take new and appropriate risks, be open to new experiences, doing things ... and making changes ... that are original, unique, insightful, ingenious, and that fully honor you. It's time to stand your ground and stand by your decisions, knowing they are the proper ones for the person you are ... and the person you are becoming.

You understand that these conditions exist ... and that you can use them whenever you want, whenever you need to, whenever you are ready. This wonderful, confidence-building arrangement is having significant impact on your viewpoints and choices now.

You have a valuable asset in your situation. This person is practical, generous, business-like, able to take on and handle responsibility. She (or he) is prosperous, able to handle money and make sound economic decisions. She is thoughtful, secure, able to deal with the physical side of life. She may have her own successful career or established profession ... or be equally committed and competent at the chores she takes on, whether or not she does them for money.

She is willing to work hard, provides for the physical needs of others without being asked, knows that is needed and automatically supplies that as part of her "job." She is confident, realistic, and sensible She may be a little too involved with "getting useful results" ... or arranging "something that works, that does the job" ... and with the economic considerations of money, the use of resources, and "the bottom line." She may thus seem more hard-edged and hard-headed than soft and sympathetic, but she certainly has her valuable place in the world.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this resource easily at hand and can use it now to your own best advantage.

You have an unused asset in your situation, but you do not yet fully understand the true significance of this change. A new period of growth and expansion is at hand ... and there is more here than meets the eye. This represents a very positive change in your circumstances and a definite upward trend in the issues you are coping with, but you may not recognize this yet -- or you may not believe you can trust what you see and feel. In any case, you are not yet applying this benefit to your own advantage as well as you might.

You will soon see a dramatic change for the better in your circumstances ... an improvement almost as magical as a stroke of good luck. A new period of growth and expansion is at hand.

Eventually, you will have to cope with someone who does not accept opposition well, who isn't overly helpful or sympathetic, who may have the idea that his way is the only way. Attitudes of intolerance, self-righteousness, narrow-mindedness, and willful dominance pollute the atmosphere ... coming either from you or from someone else, and possibly both.

Alternatively: You may have to reconsider the direction you are taking and the kind of leadership you are offering yourself with your choices and goals. Something about your vision and ambitions may be off-track -- either in the intensity with which you are pursuing wrong-headed decisions or the lack of commitment you have to your own declared intentions.
