This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You have an important asset in your situation. You have arrangements that are very much in line with who you are as a spiritual being, able to make choices that will help you fulfill your intentions and destiny, and that will advance your personal development to a new level of experience and competence.

These circumstances contain faith, trust, optimism, a sense of fresh beginnings, and a grand feeling of confidence that you know who you are, what you can do, what you want to accomplish, and that you are on the right path.

At this point, you should be willing to take new and appropriate risks, be open to new experiences, doing things ... and making changes ... that are original, unique, insightful, ingenious, and that fully honor you. It's time to stand your ground and stand by your decisions, knowing they are the proper ones for the person you are ... and the person you are becoming.

You understand that these conditions exist ... and that you can use them whenever you want, whenever you need to, whenever you are ready.

Also, you are in circumstances where money is a problem. This experience may have cost you more than you expected, or money you were counting on may have evaporated or not arrived, or a lack of resources is playing a pivotal part in what you are coping with now. You need to be cautious and conservative concerning money, financial arrangements, investments, the use of resources and possessions, and your channels of income.

Beware of believing promises that may let you down seriously if they don't materialize. You need to control your expenses ... and know where your money is coming from as well as where it is going.

Alternatively: This card can indicate a time when you are reorganizing your spending habits, probably in response to changes in your personal values. You may be bringing your financial transactions into closer alignment with your ideas and beliefs.

You have come through conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You are now able to see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed.

The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge. The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.

This happier, more liberated way of life -- and the history behind it -- have significant impact on your thinking and attitudes now. They influence the choices you make ... and you whole way of looking at the world.

You have created circumstances where there is a huge disparity between the quality (and perhaps quantity) of work you do and the amount you are paid in return. You may be charging top dollar for incompetent, poor-quality products and services. You may be cutting corners, trying to "scoot by" with as little effort as possible, and you may even be doing things that border on fraud.

Or you may be dealing with people who are treating you this way, abusing your craftsmanship, not appreciating the effort you put out on their behalf, and trying to "get something for nothing" by giving you back as little as they can possibly get away with. If you are putting up with this treatment, you are shamefully complying in your own exploitation. Abuse is abuse ... and "good intentions" don't do much to change its ugly appearances or sad results.

There are indications in this energy that someone's vanity is way out of control ... that he is unjustifiably proud of himself, smug in his ability to beat the system, fleece the "suckers," ride on other people's coattails, or get what he wants "for free", not understanding (or maybe not caring) about the karmic implications and eventual backlash being created by his choices.

Realize, too, there is not much honor in playing the perpetual victim if you are the one on the short end of the stick here ... and are staying there so you can criticize others or use self-pity as a building block in the self-righteous image you may have of yourself.

By skirting the law -- cosmic law, human law, and the physical law of cause-and-effect, you are misapplying your skills, not respecting yourself, not insisting that others grow and behave themselves better, getting lost in the pettiness of life, bogged down in "the small stuff," and definitely going about things in the wrong way.

No matter which side of this transaction you are on ... as the perpetrator or the victim of this abuse, these are not circumstances to be proud of, and the longer you let them continue the harder it will be to break the habit. So you need to get to work on that ... and soon. You are too focused on short terms gains ... and taking the easy way out.

At this point, you at least understand as fully as you need to that this is happening ... and have some idea about the eventual cost this will entail to you if it continues. You are able to work with this issue directly and honestly -- and that's the first step to getting it fixed.

You have reached a time of at least temporary peace on this matter ... where problems and arrangements have been ironed out enough for you to get some rest -- and think about other things for a while. It might be a good idea to retreat, regroup, pull back, go inward for a while, and rebalance yourself and your priorities. You probably could use a little solitude, but either you don't realize this is available, you haven't considered the benefits this might produce, or you haven't yet applied this strategy for some other reason.

Soon, you will meet a person who is empathetic, supportive, and loving. She (or he) may be dedicated to home, family, friends, and her partner. She is in touch with her feelings and intuitions ... and honors these qualities in others. She brings joy, compassion, and sympathy to situations where her counsel is needed -- and helpful. She uses her emotional empathy to help others find their own answers, their own way, their own destiny.

She is sensitive to her surroundings, and may be creative, artistic, musical, or poetic in her interests. She enjoys serene, tranquil surroundings, and values the time in her own life to dream, imagine, and contemplate. She may support the dreams of others at the expense of her own best interests and development. She is "motherly," insightful, peace-loving, devoted, and faithful.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future.

Ultimately, you will encounter a situation where a lack of money, possessions, or other resources will cause concern. You may also have health or lifestyle issues that need to be addressed and corrected.
