Your circumstances involve conventional behavior, fulfilling your assigned role, playing by the rules, conforming to social and group expectations, seeking approval, and "doing as you're told." There is no provision for experimentation, change, or innovation. This energy supports, "belonging," maintaining the status quo, and applying traditional routines to deal with issues and problems.

You have a helpful person or a very beneficial set of attitudes in your situation. This person is business-like, practical, has sound money sense and a good head on his shoulders. He may be working in a relatively new professional endeavor ... or have started a new career path recently. He is either fairly young or somewhat "new" at what he is doing.

This person is efficient, studious, down-to- earth, dependable, and hard-working. His attitudes and choices are realistic, responsible, and conservative. He may be a little too "bottom-line" to be called compassionate, but he is able to offer practical help and sensible counsel. He or his advice may be conspicuous in business, health, or lifestyle issues you are dealing with at the moment.

This energy may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality coming to the forefront to aid you or promote their own further development. You are, however, aware of its presence ... and are able to make direct use of the benefits it brings.

You have reached a situation that contains restored harmony -- probably following a serious identity crisis. This was a time when your faith, your belief in yourself and your competence, and your dedication to your goals was tested. The new situation offers you greater stability and a change for the better -- despite being unfamiliar. You are aware of this new advantage and are able to turn it to your own benefit.

You have new routines, better methods and opportunities for growth, a greater sense of personal power, direction, and capability. You have redefined who you are as a person, the role you play in your own life -- and relationships -- and incorporated the things you have learned about yourself through these recent upsetting experiences. You can use this now to help deal with this issue. These changes are having significant influence on your thinking and choices.

Your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him. Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected. You realize how much this person -- or these attitudes -- are harming your ability to launch effective action. You are at least able to deal with this matter openly and directly -- even if you feel limited in your choices about what to do with it.

Right now timing problems are a significant factor. You feel delayed, stagnant, blocked and frustrated -- as if you are making no progress and not moving forward at all. You may "start pushing," trying to force something out of impatience ... perhaps unwisely. You may also show a lack of tact and diplomacy. You may feel the need to act out of your own pressures -- or to overcome the opposition you face. However, your anger and impulsiveness may backfire.

You may find you are trying to move in the wrong direction. This energy suggests ruthless, impulsive, ill-advised action. You may be pushing for a result prematurely, or "getting ahead of yourself," not understanding what you're doing or where you are going, or moving in the wrong direction. However, this card also suggests timidity and ill-advised hesitation. So you may not be pushing something that requires more decisive action to break the stalemate.

It can indicate a confusing, "mixed message" situation ... where you almost have to "go against your impulse" in order to do what is best -- to wait when you want to get going ... and "force the issue" when your inclination is to hold back. The fact that you haven't got a clear vision of just what response to make ... is working against you presently, more than you may realize. But you may also not be able to compensate for the problem -- or find a better alternative for the moment.

Soon, you will move into a situation where you use money and resources wisely. These are circumstances of prosperity where you receive what you deserve and are able to share the bounty with others. It may mark a moment of material gain or an upswing in prosperity. It's possible a gift is involved, or a return on past investments. It is a time of feeling well-off and able to make new investments of yourself and your assets in new projects and other people.

Your own generosity may be on full display -- or you may be the beneficiary of other people who are willing to lend support and help for things you want to accomplish. It's a time of reaping what you've sown -- and you find you have plenty. You may also be prompted to combine your resources with those of others for some effort of mutual gain. You may also be given opportunities to "branch out" ... and either increase your income or diversify the sources from which it comes.

You are moving toward a resolution that contains balance, stability, contentment, and an atmosphere of acceptance and unconditional love. This energy marks the fruitful realization of creative projects, a time of growth and prosperity, fulfillment, satisfaction, joy, and the arrival of earned recognition and rewards. This is both an emotionally and financially gratifying energy ... replete with conditions that are healing, nurturing, comforting, and supportive.
