You feel self-indulgent, lazy, out of focus, and stagnant. Your creativity is on hold. You are drifting emotionally. There is a loss of connection in your social life, friendships, and relationships.

You need new interests, new opportunities for growth, new projects to excite your soul. You and others take each other for granted. You are unsatisfied with the love and support available to you. You feel friendless and isolated ... and while you may put on a good front -- that's what it is. A front.

Additionally, you are able to take charge of your circumstances ... and your life ... and exercise the power, control, and "governing" functions that are truly your right to claim and your responsibility to fulfill. This is a powerful energy of self-mastery, self-control, and achievement. You are in control, giving direction, demanding respect, and exercising wise and proper authority. You understand the advantages this offers you.

You are in a situation where there is a lot of uncertainty, where you have to listen to your feelings and play your hunches -- because there is much more happening beneath the surface of reality than meets the eye.

You must wait a while for the pattern and order here to reveal itself properly. You also need to have faith that things will work out as they should. This could provoke a lot of anxiety, but something important is coming together in the conclusion of this situation -- and for a while, you will just have to exist on the edges of reality where "what might be" is still being solidified into "what truly is." This strategy has your attention for now ... and you realize how it is affecting your viewpoints and choices.

You have reached a point of material stability, professional competence, career recognition, and financial success. You may not be wildly wealthy, but you have steady employment, are able to use your talents and resources to good advantage, and can hold on to what you earn. You are in a profitable, stable situation with solid foundations -- and you will be able to stay there. You realize this and know you can trust it. You are also able to use these resources to your own benefit.

Your own clear thinking and creative energies are right at hand and ready for you to use. You could develop and use your talents and abilities -- by making decisions you can trust and acting on information that is rock solid and true -- but for some reason you are failing to apply this asset properly. You may honestly know what to do, what to think, what direction to take, and how to see your plans through to completion, but you're not letting your self-reliance and sound intellect have enough influence to make a difference.

You may need to listen to your inner self (or a trusted, wise outside counselor), clarify your thinking, fortify your courage and finally say what you think and own what you know. The failure or unwillingness you have to use this resource may be costing you a lot at the moment. You may not understand how to use it properly, that you're not, or you may be in denial that it is as much of a loss as it is.

Sometimes there are no finer assets than straight thinking and straight talk, but you do have to be willing to stand up for your opinions, to share what you know, and stand by what you think. You may not be actively hurting yourself with your present strategies ... but you're certainly not making things as easy for yourself as you could be either.

Soon, you will find yourself in a situation of wandering, confusion, dissatisfaction, and emotional burn-out. This is an energy of disappointment, inertia, and stagnation ... where you wind up asking, "Is this all there is?" You will know you want something "more" ... that this result is not the answer you're after, that you require something with deeper meaning, more engagement, more stimulation and excitement.

The result may well be "starting over," undergoing a reasonably serious identity crisis -- and maybe a time of depression as you decide to abandon what success you've achieved here ... or the relationships you've formed and commitments you've made in order to move on to something else.

Ultimately, you are heading toward a resolution which contains an acceptable measure of satisfaction and closure, but which is tinged, nevertheless, with mild regrets. You may realize "what might have been" if you had made different choices, applied different logic, acted more decisively, or used your advantages with greater skill. You may see how to do things better next time. But that will have to wait for another day.
