This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You have created circumstances where there is a huge disparity between the quality (and perhaps quantity) of work you do and the amount you are paid in return. You may be charging top dollar for incompetent, poor-quality products and services. You may be cutting corners, trying to "scoot by" with as little effort as possible, and you may even be doing things that border on fraud.

Or you may be dealing with people who are treating you this way, abusing your craftsmanship, not appreciating the effort you put out on their behalf, and trying to "get something for nothing" by giving you back as little as they can possibly get away with. If you are putting up with this treatment, you are shamefully complying in your own exploitation. Abuse is abuse ... and "good intentions" don't do much to change its ugly appearances or sad results.

There are indications in this energy that someone's vanity is way out of control ... that he is unjustifiably proud of himself, smug in his ability to beat the system, fleece the "suckers," ride on other people's coattails, or get what he wants "for free", not understanding (or maybe not caring) about the karmic implications and eventual backlash being created by his choices.

Realize, too, there is not much honor in playing the perpetual victim if you are the one on the short end of the stick here ... and are staying there so you can criticize others or use self-pity as a building block in the self-righteous image you may have of yourself.

By skirting the law -- cosmic law, human law, and the physical law of cause-and-effect, you are misapplying your skills, not respecting yourself, not insisting that others grow and behave themselves better, getting lost in the pettiness of life, bogged down in "the small stuff," and definitely going about things in the wrong way.

No matter which side of this transaction you are on ... as the perpetrator or the victim of this abuse, these are not circumstances to be proud of, and the longer you let them continue the harder it will be to break the habit. So you need to get to work on that ... and soon. You are too focused on short terms gains ... and taking the easy way out.

At this point, you at least understand as fully as you need to that this is happening ... and have some idea about the eventual cost this will entail to you if it continues. You are able to work with this issue directly and honestly -- and that's the first step to getting it fixed.

Complicating matters at the moment, you are dealing with the results of foolish choices, wrong choices, choices based on fear and despair ... or where you simply refused to commit to a solid course of action, one way or the other. You may feel paralyzed, depressed, stalled, pessimistic ... and even paranoid.

You need to be open to new possibilities. You may have closed down several possible productive alternatives. You need to open up and see what arrives for your further consideration. You may not have the right attitude. You may not be open to success. You may be too much of a "reactor" rather than an actor in your life. You may just be scared to take the risks that face you.

This may not be your most productive arrangement by any means. You need to rethink your situation -- considerably. You do, however, have this problem out in the open where you can see its effects ... and work with it consciously and deliberately. It may be a handicap, but at least it's not unfolding behind your back.

You are in a situation that places an extremely heavy emphasis on material success, money, public status, and "creating the right image." This may involve experiences of serious discontent, depression, and even illness -- as this represents an extraordinary perversion of the natural desire for safety, honor, and respect. This energy turns the need for fame, reputation, achievement, and respect into an obsession ... which will stoop to force, coercion, manipulation, exploitation, and abuse in order to accomplish its ends.

This represents action without understanding, without compassion, without accountability, and without considering the results and effects of what one has set in motion. It often involved someone's overweening ego ... and actions taken out of inordinate pride or in order to "save face" or gain importance. There is a lack of consideration, a pervasive attitude of selfishness and concern for appearances that creates a miserable existence.

Life at this point is seriously off track and out of kilter -- and a major crash in order to make a course correction in these circumstances may loom before too long. You may be either the victim or the perpetrator of these conditions ... but regardless of which side of the equation you fall on, you need to get this fixed -- for everyone's sake.

You do harm even to the one you allow to treat you this way if you let this arrangement continue. You will do untold harm to yourself if you are the one putting this deplorable situation into motion in the first place. You may not see a good way out of this mess ... or how to compensate for the problems it is causing, but at least at this point you do understand this is happening ... and that it needs to be corrected ASAP. You are able to deal with this matter openly and directly now. It has your full attention ... and considerable influence on your thinking and choices.

You are in a situation that contains heartbreak, sorrow, abuse, setbacks, and shattered emotions. This situation may also hold a lack of appreciation, betrayal, injury, separation, grief, and terrible disappointment. While on the surface this energy represents the heart and head at odds with one another ... the reality is often extremely painful.

Far more upsetting than your thoughts telling you one thing and your heart another, this energy usually contains disbelief that you have been treated so badly by someone you care for ... and the realization that you have to get over loving and needing someone who could hurt you this way.

This energy is that of being victimized, harmed, even brutalized physically or emotionally. It may also indicate you have done this to somebody else ... but either way there are karmic liabilities contained here -- and the eventual, inevitable backlash may be pretty severe.

This may be part of the current day conditions ... or it may be problems held over from an old piece of abusive personal history. In either case, it is "out in the open" where you are well aware of it -- and understand the complications it is bringing to your situation.

You may not realize you need to watch out for abuse in this situation ... or you may not realize you need to heal from past hurts to the extent you do. Somehow, you are not dealing with this matter as directly, consciously, or openly as you need to ... either because you don't see its evidence yet, or you are in denial about how seriously it is undermining you.

You are heading for circumstances that are unfair, unbalanced, unjust. Someone may treat you unfairly. You may arrange to be unfair to yourself in order to be fair to somebody else. Possibly you will take advantage of a loophole that gets you better arrangements here than you really deserve -- or someone pulls this on you. It may take several efforts to gain closure on this matter, or it may be there simply is no way to be fair to all concerned.

You are heading for an outcome where you'll be coping with adversity, obstacles, and possibly a lack of preparation for what you have undertaken. To complicate matters further, you will not be fighting for what is right, not standing up for yourself, remaining weak and vulnerable, and bending under the considerable pressure of your situation. You may be dealing with a problem you thought was already "solved."

You may also be letting yourself be bullied or "run over." You will be overwhelmed, dealing with circumstances you aren't really ready to face, and may be blind-sided before long because you are trying to "be nice," make excuses, or "look the other way."
