This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. You may not feel there is much you can do to correct or compensate for the problems this person or this part of yourself presents, but at this point you at least understand what is going on and are able to confront the matter openly and directly -- for all the good it may do.

Alternatively: You may need to step back, go inward, and reconnect with your own common sense. You may also need to rethink some matter involving your career, business life, or commercial enterprises. You may need to learn some thing you don't know at the moment ... or implement some strategies you have only begun to discover. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person -- or a counter-productive set of attitudes, consider this is the message the card intends to deliver to you now.

There is also a specific personality involved in this situation. This person is quick witted, knowledgeable, a person of forceful opinions and intellectual power. He has determination, the deep courage of his convictions, and a willingness to stand up for his ideas and views.

He is honest and communicative, focused and goal-directed when it comes to learning ... and teaching. He is a writer, a thinker, a speaker, a lover of truth. He assertively promotes his opinions, shares what he knows, renders sound judgments, and may be both persuasive and opinionated.

This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development. You understand how to work with this asset -- and are able to do so openly and directly.

You have allies and a cooperative network of support, however, that you can use to your advantage in dealing with this matter. Teamwork, advice, and help are available to you. This may help boost your confidence that you can bring this matter to a satisfactory resolution.

You face difficult choices because of conflicting needs and elements that don't accommodate one another well at all. You may not have a firm grasp on all your options, or you may not yet have seen a way to achieve a decent compromise. Soon, you are heading into a situation where doubt, pessimism, and a stubborn lack of perception -- almost a resolute failure to "get the message" or "see the truth" are very much in evidence. This may include a loss of hope or faith, feelings of rejection and confusion, a serious identity crisis, and having to handle the serious problems stemming from your own lack of bad judgment.

You may have a pervasive negative attitude to overcome. You will be coming to terms with past mistakes and trying hard to put things -- including your own experiences -- into perspective. You will feel helpless, victimized, uninspired, and "in the dark." At the very least, boredom and a lack of new goals will cause you considerable aggravation.

This is a time of sadness ... and sufficient discontent to cause mental and emotional problems. Your poor self-image and failure to use your own talents properly may be major causes of your defeated hopes. Your self-doubt not only has sabotaged your past at this point ... it continues to corrupt and jeopardize your future. You need to connect with your personal stamina, convictions, and courage again.

Ultimately, you are moving toward a resolution that leaves you unhappy, dissatisfied, let down, disappointed, and emotionally exhausted. It could, in fact, be a fairly serious time of sadness and emotional ruin -- depending on the gravity of this original situation.
