You are coping with problems caused by someone who is immature, who has a bad self-image, a negative attitude, or no self-confidence or motivation. This may be another person who is influencing your situation ... or it may be a part of yourself you are having to come to terms with and realign.

Alternatively: You have reached a time of reassessing and realigning your sense of who you are -- something you may have misunderstood for a while. You are reaching new conclusions about your identity, your desires, and your effectiveness at reaching goals. These changes may not yet show on the outside, but inside, where you live, a quiet revolution is taking place that will improve things for you significantly in time.

If you resonate to this meaning more than to the presence of a difficult person in your situation, consider that this is the message the card carries for you in this instance.

You are also in a situation where you need some time to fantasize, dream, brainstorm ... and refocus your intentions. You are in a period of indecision, confusion, and inertia ... where fantasy is preferable to reality, and the ability to act is hindered by a lack of clear direction. You need to concentrate, be realistic, and not get lost in wishful thinking -- or simply spinning your wheels ... and getting nowhere.

You are also in danger of becoming lost in a fantasy world ... or in addictive pursuits that, in the end, gain you nothing. You at least realize the hazards of giving in to these impulses too often or too long ... and are able to work with this energy positive and directly.

You have circumstances that include adequate recognition and compensation for the services you perform and the work you do. It is a condition of achievement and competence ... where you receive what you have earned, including appreciation and financial payment. You are working on something that will serve you well in the future -- and acquiring the skills and assets you need to improve yourself and your circumstances.

You are able to take pride in your accomplishments and the reputation you have because of them. You are also able to apply this to your advantage in this situation ... and you know it. This is having considerable influence on your thinking and choices at the moment.

You are redefining some important goals -- perhaps having to do with your financial life or professional direction. Targets you were once aiming to reach don't suit you any more, or you realize your direction was "off" somehow.

You no longer want what you have been working toward. You may also find you have achieved something that no longer "fits" you. It is time to make a course correction ... perhaps a substantial one. You finally see the need for this ... and perhaps the dimensions of the necessary change. You are finally able to make objective decisions and work with this matter openly and directly.

You have an unused asset in your situation, but you do not yet fully understand the true significance of this change. A new period of growth and expansion is at hand ... and there is more here than meets the eye. This represents a very positive change in your circumstances and a definite upward trend in the issues you are coping with, but you may not recognize this yet -- or you may not believe you can trust what you see and feel. In any case, you are not yet applying this benefit to your own advantage as well as you might.

Soon, you will need to confront your own immaturity. You have been living too much in the past, clinging to outworn situations, relationships, and worthless associates. Problems from your past continue to pollute conditions in the present ... and deep emotional disappointments keep you from "moving on" ... although that is really your next step in this level of personal growth.

You will find you are caught in unproductive circumstances, dwelling on unhappy past events, dealing with rigid ideas -- your own and those of others. In short, you are not progressing, but are instead sacrificing the present for past longings and regrets ... wondering "what might have been," and staying caught in unproductive nostalgia.

New sources of income and new professional opportunities wait on the horizon. You are beginning a new effort of material creation ... which could eventually bring an improved lifestyle -- and more healthful conditions -- as well as more money and more to show for your investment of time and energy.
