This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. Your situation contains a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes. This person is wasteful, careless with money, possibly too materialistic or too easily impressed with status symbols. This person may also be physically ill -- most likely from poor lifestyle choices.

This is someone who doesn't learn ... even from his own mistakes -- of which there may be plenty to choose from as examples of how not to behave. The attitudes present here are hedonistic, vain, status-conscious, contrary, extravagant, impractical, self-absorbed, and unwilling to listen to the voice of experience.

This may come in the form of another person -- or it may be parts of your own personality you need to confront and correct. You may not feel there is much you can do to correct or compensate for the problems this person or this part of yourself presents, but at this point you at least understand what is going on and are able to confront the matter openly and directly -- for all the good it may do.

Alternatively: You may need to step back, go inward, and reconnect with your own common sense. You may also need to rethink some matter involving your career, business life, or commercial enterprises. You may need to learn some thing you don't know at the moment ... or implement some strategies you have only begun to discover. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person -- or a counter-productive set of attitudes, consider this is the message the card intends to deliver to you now.

Additionally, your situation contains a person who is objective, perceptive, self-reliant, and an independent thinker. This is someone with an inclination toward solitude, self-directed counsel and opinions, who has a philosophical outlook on life, and may be a good therapist, advisor, or psychologist -- self-educated or otherwise. She (or he) is a thinker, a good judge of people and situation, able to make well-considered decisions, and "cut to the chase" in dealing with information and arguments. This person is individualistic, analytical, strongly opinionated, and personally intense. She handles facts and information well ... and may be a good communicator. This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this asset readily at hand, and can apply it to your own benefit whenever you choose.

You have reached a point of material stability, professional competence, career recognition, and financial success. You may not be wildly wealthy, but you have steady employment, are able to use your talents and resources to good advantage, and can hold on to what you earn. You are in a profitable, stable situation with solid foundations -- and you will be able to stay there.

You realize this and know you can trust it. You are also able to use these resources to your own benefit. This comfortable situation has quite an influence now on the ideas you hold and the choices you are able to make.

You need to make up your mind, take action, select from the options you've been considering, and set off to chase one or two of the dreams you've been dreaming. This is the point where the brainstorming process ends ... and the elbow grease gets liberally applied. It's time for you to decide to solidify your vision and start accumulating the resources you will need to bring your goals into reality.

Of course, both the dreaming and the doing are important parts of creation. And having the courage to do both is necessary to making genuine progress. You do realize this ... and you are working with this energy openly and directly.

You have reached a time of decisions, integration, synthesis, and harmony. It may involve a new relationship -- or a redefined relationship with someone you already know. It involves making decisions, reaching a crossroads, choosing wise and balanced options. This is a time of wholeness, union, self-actualization, agreement, compromise and cooperation.

You may solve a problem ... or find something that "fulfills you." This situation may involve combining different elements to create a third "entity" ... which is the solution to a dilemma. You may not yet realize this asset is available to you ... or you may not yet see how to use its benefits to your advantage. It's possible you are choosing to ignore this resource -- but probably not for long.

Soon, you will face a situation where the lack of joy in your situation, the blocked emotional fulfillment, frustration, and depression are all too evident. You may be facing a lack of real love, manipulation of yourself or others "in the name of love," and a deep sense of genuine unhappiness. You are not doing anything you enjoy. You don't trust your situation -- or the conditions in it.

You feel you lack the necessary support of others around you ... and the basic pleasures you have a right to expect. You may feel unwanted, abandoned, deceived, unsupported, and unable to offer love and support to others. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be "taking and using" -- and that will exhaust everyone concerned before long.

Ultimately, you will encounter a problematic personality or a counter-productive set of attitudes.. This may involve someone who has -- or causes -- chronic financial problems, someone who is impractical, irresponsible, physically lazy, and who "uses" people ... especially to his own financial advantage.

Your situation may also contain attitudes that are unethical, calculating, financially stingy -- or financially greedy, and where "doing things the easy way" is a primary concern. Accommodating him (or her!) may be chronically costly to your career progress, your pocketbook, and your physical health.

Because energy is always a two-way street -- this may represent another person in your situation, or it may be a side of your personality you are reluctant to confront or control. You may not even want to admit it exists.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you need to do some serious work to refocus your thinking about money, business decisions, commercial transactions, and the use of time and other resources. It can mean a new way of conducting your financial life and managing your economic situation is waiting to unfold ... and you need to do the inner work -- and the groundwork -- to discover it.
