This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. You have reached a time of celebration, joy, success, and satisfaction. This may only be an interim stage of resolution for this issue overall, but at least it is a triumphant one. You are pleased by and appreciated for what you have accomplished.

You have new sources of income and new professional opportunities you can use and work with to your own benefit. You are beginning a new effort of material creation ... which could eventually bring an improved lifestyle -- and more healthful conditions -- as well as more money and better tangible results to show for your investment of time and energy.

Your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him.

Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected. You realize how much this person -- or these attitudes -- are harming your ability to launch effective action.

You are at least able to deal with this matter openly and directly -- even if you feel limited in your choices about what to do with it. It has significant impact on your thinking -- as well as your full attention at the moment.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own happiness, your own creative pleasures, and your own "love of living." You could have lost sight of this for some reason ... and need to reconnect to this vital source of emotional support in your own life. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You are facing the fact you've not yet succeeded on some important project or level of experience in ways that please you. Something you may have been working on for a long time still "falls short" of your goal in ways that require you to try again to bring this arrangement to a successful completion.

You have an unused asset in your situation. You are in a place of wealth, stability, comfort, and security ... where you have a comfortable lifestyle and all the resources you need -- at least temporarily, but you don't realize it for some reason -- or you don't trust it ... or you aren't applying it to your own benefit.

In the short term, you may have to cope with someone who does not accept opposition well, who isn't overly helpful or sympathetic, who may have the idea that his way is the only way. Attitudes of intolerance, self-righteousness, narrow-mindedness, and willful dominance pollute the atmosphere ... coming either from you or from someone else, and possibly both.

Alternatively: You may have to reconsider the direction you are taking and the kind of leadership you are offering yourself with your choices and goals. Something about your vision and ambitions may be off-track -- either in the intensity with which you are pursuing wrong-headed decisions or the lack of commitment you have to your own declared intentions.

Ultimately, you will reach a resolution where impatience and wasted effort are very much part of the arrangement. The energy here "keeps pushing" ... instead of stepping back and listening to what might be good advice, intuition, or the offering of better options. You may be determined to make something happen your way. Or you may not want to use other strategies and alternatives -- even though they exist and might be far more effective than the ones you're so fond of.

This energy also indicates you are indulging in fantasies, grudges, paranoia, illusions, escapism, and / or procrastination. You are stuck and stalled -- or not willing to let go and move on -- regardless of whether or not this is getting you the results you want and need. You may be choosing not to rock the boat -- but for all the wrong reasons. You may be refusing to make a necessary decision. You are letting your own hang-ups blind you to all viewpoints except your own.
