This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. Because it deals with material assets, its information can also be applied to issues involving your health.

You are coping with someone who has a very impaired sense of self-discipline and a suspicious sense of morality. He may be known for running his "con games" ... both literal and emotional as a tactic for manipulating people and getting his own way. He is dishonest, shady, and out to feather his own nest. He may also be given to addictive habits and patterns. He is always looking for his own advantage ... and that may be all he's interested in.

He will compromise his conscience for gain ... and the exploitation of others. He takes advantage of people's generosity and compassion ... and manipulates them by appealing to their guilt, pity, or their own ideals and better natures. He is very troubled emotionally -- and while he may put on a good front, his personal life is chaotic and undisciplined.

He may make a big show of "helping other people" ... when he should be paying attention to -- and working on -- his own problems. He may play up his "sensitive and caring nature" ... and the fact that his feelings can be easily hurt -- as a way of gaining control over others. The fact is, he is closed, manipulative, and stingy. The sympathy and help he offers is usually bogus ... and the support he tenders will collapse if others really lean on him ... or try to rely on what he offers.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected, that have come to the fore for attention or adjustment.

You have happiness, success, joy, and the blessing of supportive relationships available to you, and you are able to use this to good advantage.

You have an arrangement that contains balance, stability, contentment, and an atmosphere of acceptance and unconditional love. This energy marks the fruitful realization of creative projects, a time of growth and prosperity, fulfillment, satisfaction, joy, and the arrival of earned recognition and rewards.

This is both an emotionally and financially gratifying energy ... replete with conditions that are healing, nurturing, comforting, and supportive. It exists in ways you can use to your benefit -- possibly through the help of another person, and it having significant influence on your viewpoints and choices.

You are in a situation that involves the release of physical and financial assets. Something here has not paid off the way you expected it to ... or it cost you a lot more than you realized -- or hoped. On a positive note in releasing this money, you may have made a major purchase (although it's also possible what you "bought" was the sad wisdom of experience.) Or you may have "invested a lot of yourself" into something -- that may or may not yield the dividend you're looking for.

At the moment, indications are it won't give back what you intend -- but the investment may simply take more time to mature than you've realized. Presently, however, you have to work with the possibility that you are overspending; incurring money problems; investing yourself, your time, and your talents poorly. You may not be living up to your potential -- or achieving the gains you intend to make.

You may be jeopardizing yourself without realizing it ... or exhausting yourself to no ultimate benefit. At this point, however, you understand the dimensions of the situation you're working with ... and can cope with its results openly and directly.

You also have a problem personality complicating the picture. This one might legitimately be called a trouble-maker. There is a sly cunning to this character, and a secretive, scheming "mean streak" that may make him (or her) particularly hard to get along with. Attitudes of aggression, sarcasm, cynicism, and pettiness dominate -- along with an insufferable spirit of narcissism that may be almost impossible to stomach. You may not yet understand the potential for damage and harm this person -- or these attitudes, for they may be part of you, too -- can cause.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own thinking, opinions, and the way you express your ideas. You may be acting on wrong information. Your prejudices or a serious misunderstanding of the facts could be having too much influence on your thinking. You may be pushing your opinions too hard and alienating others from considering your views objectively. You may realize you've been too one-sided in your thinking or that you haven't been listening well.

You may have decided to pull back for a while and reconsider some of your stronger views and the way you express them that could actually be either misguided ... or hurting your own cause. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

But a time of sorrow or sadness over a relationship that is ending or the processing of a serious disappointment still presents a challenge you have to face and cope with.

Ultimately, you are going to make choices and take action. Circumstances may force a choice -- or you may just need to do something to break a feeling of impasse and "getting nowhere." It's not possible at this point to say whether your actions will be wise or well-considered, but you will definitely be making some moves.
