You are in circumstances of happiness, support, positive relationships, stable emotional conditions, and tremendous satisfaction. Life is reliable, predictable, secure, peaceful, good. This is a time when you can rely on your feelings, know what to expect, what you can count on, and who your "friends" are. This is an asset you can use to tremendous advantage now.

You are in a situation of chaos and confusion where you are not thinking clearly or realistically. You may be pushing your ideas at the wrong time or in the wrong way. You are not getting the results you want ... or the respect you think you deserve. You may not know what you believe ... or even what to think at this point.

You may not be telling -- or receiving -- the truth about your circumstances. You may be acting on a bad idea or misinformation. You or someone influential in your situation may not be communicating well. You or someone influential in your situation may have a bad attitude. You face serious challenges to some idea you are working with. You do, however, realize what is going on here ... and are able to work with the problems of this energy directly and openly.

You have reached a place of triumph, success, and advancement. You are in control of your life and its ongoing stages of development. You are "in flow," in the right place at the right time, and able to respond to changes and opportunities with balance and poise. This energy is that of success earned by hard work and self-reliance. You know your confidence and optimism are well founded. You also feel centered, positive, energetic, and "in charge." This wonderful mindset has significant influence on your thinking and choices now.

There is also a problem personality complicating the picture, someone who qualifies as a real trouble-maker. There is a sly cunning to this character, and a secretive, scheming "mean streak" that may make him (or her) particularly hard to get along with. Attitudes of aggression, sarcasm, cynicism, and pettiness dominate -- along with an insufferable spirit of narcissism that may be almost impossible to stomach. You have finally begun to understand how important it is for you to deal with this person ... and the attitudes that accompany him.

Alternatively: You may realize how much you need to focus on your own unproductive ideas, opinions, beliefs, and prejudices ... and make some corrections in the way you view and handle this matter so as to stop being part of the problem instead of part of the solution. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

Or the results themselves may constitute a kind of recovery from some experience that is historically related -- but not directly visible regarding recent events -- the ones that make necessary this time of convalescence and the reclaiming of your personal and moral center.

You may come through turmoil and upset serious enough to be called a crisis ... and need to move forward again by leaving a bad situation behind. It's the bad situation that is part of your history that leaves a lingering pain and is responsible for the crisis of faith that may result when all the dust here settles.

You are heading ultimately into a place where confusion, indecision, and stagnation prevail. Your own weak will and ineptitude in dealing with this new situation -- or the developments that come in your present situation -- will be a major handicap in your ability to make progress into something better.

You may have to cope with a lack of wisdom, shallow and inadequate knowledge, incorrect information, improper focus, a willingness to offer or settle for "easy answers," poor concentration ... and maybe outright lies. This is an energy of mediocrity and incompetence, dancing around the truth, rationalizing, dissembling, covering up, and "putting on a front."

It suggests living in the shallows, being uninspired and uninspiring, being bored and depressed, not sharing what you know ... or not having anything worth sharing. A lack of planning, lack of attention to details, poor organization and initiative, and intellectual pomposity may be on prominent display.

You may find this energy present in another person you have to manage -- or work around. You may also find these qualities in yourself coming out in the open where you have to confront and correct them. Whichever way this happens, you need to get this taken care of. At this point, your own inability to think straight and act on sound decisions is working against you -- and costing you more than you realize.
