This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are involved in experiences that include serious quarrelling, anxiety, and deep philosophical disagreement. This is an extremely disagreeable situation, containing, as it does, elements of defeat, unfairness, failure, slander, cruelty, cowardliness, and malice. You may feel you have been treated unfairly ... or realize that you have done so to others. (Possibly both.)

This is a situation of insensitivity, fear, the realization that you are not following your conscience -- if you pause long enough to rationally consider what is happening here. You are pushing an issue ... or using force ... to no good avail, often to avoid changing your mind about something dear or important to you. Or you are feeling coerced and pressured to change your opinions ... or surrender your ideas ... by circumstances or another person.

This is an energy of victimization, and because energy is always a two way street, you may be either the victim, the perpetrator, or quite likely ... both. You may have to cope with feelings of revenge, the consequences of your self-defeating actions, or the consequences of ruthless responses.

Even "winning" here gains you nothing but an empty victory. You are likely locked into circumstances which involve mind games, game-playing, scoring points, getting even, and working to get "one up" on someone else -- and vice versa. You need desperately to change your thinking.

You may not see a good way out of this situation ... or how to compensate well for the considerable problems this is causing you, but at least at this point, you understand the seriousness of these complications and are working directly and consciously to see what can be done with them.

Your situation contains a person who is honorable, trustworthy, self-confident, and likeable. This is someone who renders sound judgments, has strong personal values, knows who she (or he!!) is and what she stands for. She is dignified, decisive, competent ... and knows how to support the growth and development of others as well as direct her own evolutionary path with wisdom and integrity.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You have this asset readily at hand, and can apply it to your own benefit whenever you choose.

Habits, conventional behavior, fulfilling your assigned role, playing by the rules, conforming to social and group expectations, seeking approval, and "doing as you're told" are on your mind. There is no provision for experimentation, change, or innovation. This energy supports, "belonging," maintaining the status quo, and applying traditional routines to deal with issues and problems. It is having considerable influence on your thinking and choices at the moment.

You are in a situation where weakness, cowardice, a loss of control, and "taking the easy way out" are on display. This may stem from a lack of self-confidence, self-sabotage, or giving in to pressure and manipulation. You may not see a good way to overcome or compensate for this ... or you may be in denial about just how much this could hinder a successful resolution of this issue.

You are in a situation where an important goal has not been achieved. You are unsatisfied and running on empty. You may not see a way around this impasse at the moment ... or you may be unaware how seriously it is hindering you emotionally at the moment.

Soon, you will encounter a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him.

Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected.

Eventually, you will reach a time of decisions, integration, synthesis, and harmony. It may involve a new relationship -- or a redefined relationship with someone you already know. It will involve making decisions, reaching a crossroads, choosing wise and balanced options. This is a time of wholeness, union, self-actualization, agreement, compromise and cooperation. You may solve a problem ... or find something that "fulfills you." This situation may involve combining different elements to create a third "entity" ... which is the solution to a dilemma.
