This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are in circumstances where money is a problem. This experience may have cost you more than you expected, or money you were counting on may have evaporated or not arrived, or a lack of resources is playing a pivotal part in what you are coping with now.

You need to be cautious and conservative concerning money, financial arrangements, investments, the use of resources and possessions, and your channels of income.

Beware of believing promises that may let you down seriously if they don't materialize. You need to control your expenses ... and know where your money is coming from as well as where it is going.

Alternatively: This card can indicate a time when you are reorganizing your spending habits, probably in response to changes in your personal values. You may be bringing your financial transactions into closer alignment with your ideas and beliefs.

You also have a situation that is unfair, unbalanced, unjust. Someone may have treated you unfairly. You may have been unfair to yourself in order to be fair to somebody else. Possibly you took advantage of a loophole that got you better arrangements than you really deserved -- or someone pulled this on you. Perhaps in this instance there is -- or was -- no way to be fair to everyone. It is, however, influencing your circumstances ... as they unfold.

Habits, conventional behavior, fulfilling your assigned role, playing by the rules, conforming to social and group expectations, seeking approval, and "doing as you're told" are on your mind. There is no provision for experimentation, change, or innovation. This energy supports, "belonging," maintaining the status quo, and applying traditional routines to deal with issues and problems. It is having considerable influence on your thinking and choices at the moment.

A time of major change is definitely underway. You may want to deny this ... even though it's been going on so long it hardly qualifies as "news" any more. You may also be resisting the adjustments that will eventually be necessary. It's possible you still don't realize the dimensions of what's involved here, but working with this energy instead of against it might be a better strategy.

You have an unused asset in your situation. It exists in the presence of a powerful person of character and integrity who commands considerable influence and force. This could be another person ... someone whose leadership abilities and dedication to self-actualized goals are a compelling part of his nature, someone who leads by example ... and sets a most impressive tone with the choices he makes in his own life.

This influence, if it comes in another person, is charismatic, effective, authoritative, and brave. He (or she!) is a good counselor and a person of sound moral fortitude. He is someone you can both count on and confide in, independent, responsible, and solid. He will activate some of the best of these qualities in you, and provide an example of how you can grow along these lines, too.

Keep in mind, this energy may exist as a composite of several people ... if you don't see one definite example of this candor and strength among your immediate associates. This powerful influence may also be one of your own inner selves that has come to the forefront of your attention to help you ... and itself ... evolve and improve as you work through this issue.

If you don't find this clearly available in another person or people in your outer world, look within. This energy is waiting to meet you there. It is what will attract these others into your life to act as aids and allies if you need them. It can have a strong influence on your opinions, views, and choices in this matter.

You may not understand that this is available to you ... or it may no have made its presence felt strongly enough for you to pay it attention at this point. For some reason, you are not yet applying this resource to your own advantage as well as you might.

Soon, you will be able to move on rapidly, confident of your choices and direction, full speed ahead with a clear path and a green light.

You are heading for an outcome which features a lack of initiative, low energy levels, confusion, low self-esteem, and a sense of defeat. Your situation may also contain attitudes of vanity, arrogance, self-absorption, disagreements, and disappointment. You ... or someone in your situation ... may be trying to control others for your own ends.

This is an energy of depression, narrow-thinking, and emptiness. You may feel a lack of purpose, a lack of creativity, a lack of joy. It is possible you are misusing personal energy ... and yet still not gaining the positive respect or attention of others you are seeking.
