There is also a specific personality involved in this situation. This person is quick witted, knowledgeable, a person of forceful opinions and intellectual power. He has determination, the deep courage of his convictions, and a willingness to stand up for his ideas and views.

He is honest and communicative, focused and goal-directed when it comes to learning ... and teaching. He is a writer, a thinker, a speaker, a lover of truth. He assertively promotes his opinions, shares what he knows, renders sound judgments, and may be both persuasive and opinionated.

This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development. You are spinning your wheels, running around in circles, putting in huge amounts of effort and energy -- and achieving no progress whatsoever. This energy is one of intense, disorganized action, strife, and confusion. It also represents an identity crisis -- not knowing who you are or what you "role" in this situation is, needing to fight for your rights and position -- but maybe not being willing or able to do so.

You may face a loss of security, harmony, and privacy. You may not have a good sense of yourself or your competence in this situation. You may feel very ambivalent and internally divided. You may face numerous, complicated, and confusing options and choices. This is an arrangement of extreme discomfort with yourself and your situation. It contains energies that speak of arguments, rivalry, agitation, conflict, disagreements, and divided opinions. This situation has your full attention now ... and you understand the influence it is having on your choices, viewpoints, and ideas.

Your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him. Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people.

This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected. You realize how much this person -- or these attitudes -- are harming your ability to launch effective action. You are at least able to deal with this matter openly and directly -- even if you feel limited in your choices about what to do with it.

You face difficult choices because of conflicting needs and elements that don't accommodate one another well at all. You may not have a firm grasp on all your options, or you may not yet have seen a way to achieve a decent compromise. You may also be in denial about just how much your ambivalence and dithering are impeding your progress.

Soon, you will meet someone as a result of this matter -- or who will help you work through what is happening here. This person is interested in his own self-development and firm in his personal identity. His integrity is sound. He can be counted on to deliver truth and honesty. When he's around, he makes a definite impression. He is individualistic, very much his own person ... and wants to be where the action is.

He has unmistakable personal charisma, and considers himself a leader -- but he can be a little too pushy for some people's taste. He simply knows how to get things done -- and isn't shy about doing whatever it takes to achieve his goals. He is energetic, intense, impulsive and always "on the go," or "in a hurry."

He can be impetuous, vigorous, enthusiastic, restless, and competitive. He loves adventure, and he loves winning. He also loves life -- and plays the game of it exceedingly well. He is brave, self-aware, confident and dramatic. He is demonstrative, outgoing, warm, generous ... and wants to "shine". He most definitely wants to be noticed.

He may also be able to show you where your own leadership and initiative will benefit the circumstances of your situation. This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development.

You will eventually reach a time of major change regarding this issue, a time when some elements will end completely and better -- or at least different -- circumstances will take their place. This will be a time of deep, necessary change ... and then, of course, the inevitable regeneration and improvement.
