This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are in a situation that is sterile and unsatisfying. These are circumstances where you -- or someone influential in your situation -- is frittering away resources, wasting energy, and courting a whole roster of problems -- physical, financial, emotional, psychological.

This situation contains a serious lack of love and support. You may feel rejected, depressed, deprived, and unable to muster the energy to start anything new. This energy describes a lack of productivity, chaotic circumstances, feelings of emptiness and withdrawal, considerable pain, and the failure to use your creative talents to bring about the desired and necessary changes. You may feel there isn't much you can to do compensate for or correct the situation -- but at least the challenge is out in the open where you can work with it consciously and directly.

You are also in a situation where you need some time to fantasize, dream, brainstorm ... and refocus your intentions. You are in a period of indecision, confusion, and inertia ... where fantasy is preferable to reality, and the ability to act is hindered by a lack of clear direction. You need to concentrate, be realistic, and not get lost in wishful thinking -- or simply spinning your wheels ... and getting nowhere.

You are also in danger of becoming lost in a fantasy world ... or in addictive pursuits that, in the end, gain you nothing. You at least realize the hazards of giving in to these impulses too often or too long ... and are able to work with this energy positive and directly.

You are deliberating working to bring this matter to a successful conclusion. You know how to make this happen ... and this matter has your direct attention now.

You are in a necessary time of recovery -- recuperating from the stress of what you've been through. You will need to find the courage to start again after a time of defeat and disappointment.

Your current situation may not have worked out as you hoped. You may have invested a lot more into it than it paid you back. Or the results themselves may constitute a kind of recovery from some experience that is historically related -- but not directly visible regarding recent events -- the ones that make necessary this time of convalescence and the reclaiming of your personal and moral center. You have come through turmoil and upset serious enough to be called a crisis ... and need to move forward again by leaving a bad situation behind.

It's the bad situation that is part of your history that leaves a lingering pain and is responsible for the crisis of faith that may result when all the dust here settles. You may not feel you are able to do much about these events ... to correct or compensate for the challenges they present to you -- but at least you have a clear vision yet of just how serious, depleting, and detrimental these experiences have been for you ... and how extensive the work will be when finally you do pull things together and start over.

You can easily succeed at what you are trying to accomplish. An energy of happiness, contentment, satisfaction, love, harmony, serenity, comfort, and fulfillment is available ... but you may not realize it and you aren't applying it to your own best advantage now.

You are about to meet a situation where there is a lot of uncertainty, where you will have to listen to your feelings and play your hunches -- because there is much more happening beneath the surface of reality than meets the eye.

You may have to wait a while for the pattern and order here to reveal itself properly. You may also need to have faith that things will work out as they should. This could provoke a lot of anxiety, but something important is coming together in the outcome of this situation -- and for a while, you will just have to exist on the edges of reality where "what might be" is still being solidified into "what truly is."

A problem "personality factor" is also coming into play ... from someone who is financially dependent, ill, or physically helpless. She (or he) may be impractical, wasteful, status-conscious, materialistic, superficial, judgmental, and irresponsible. She may be making no use of her own abilities, not trying to care for herself physically, unable to manage her economic life, and constantly in need of support and rescue.

She may blame others for her problems, be critical, fault-finding, and hard to get along with, have a confused professional life or unrealistic ambitions, and be full of great dreams and fantasies -- but with no actual achievement to back them up.

This may be another person. This may be the response elicited from you as a result of the stress you are having to handle, or it may be one of your own inner selves coming to your attention for you to notice and adjust.
