This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. You are not considering your options, possibilities, responsibilities, resources, or abilities in ways that offer you the full range of available potentials. You may, instead, be kicking up misunderstandings, opposition ... or at the least a lack of cooperation from those you need to help you succeed in this present venture. You may also be coping with a lot of mixed messages and your own ambivalence.

As long as things are jumbled as they are regarding this energy of "missing alliances and no support," you might be wise to pause and wait for things to clear before proceeding. Right now you are not heading toward a successful result or the advantageous use of what you are working with.

Alternatively: This card can indicate you have decided to "go back to the drawing board" in terms of partners and allies, outside resources, or your own mixed feelings on this matter and try to reorganize this part of your situation into something more cohesive. There may not be much difference showing in the outside world yet, but you are making some important inner changes and behind the scenes adjustments that will be better in the long run.

If this meaning resonates strongly with you regarding your present situation, consider that it also is a message the card is suggesting for you to receive.

Additionally, you are in a situation of high anxiety, despair, and emotional upset serious enough to qualify as torment.

You are in circumstances where money is a problem. This experience may cost you more than you expected, or money you were counting on may evaporate or not arrive, or a lack of resources plays a pivotal part moving things to closure. You need to be cautious and conservative concerning money, financial arrangements, investments, the use of resources and possessions, and your channels of income.

Beware of believing promises that may let you down seriously if they don't materialize. You need to control your expenses ... and know where your money is coming from as well as where it is going. You may not see ways to compensate for or cope with this challenge well -- but at least you are able to deal with the situation openly, honestly, and directly. You realize the impact this has on your thinking and choices ... and it has your full attention now.

Alternatively: This card can indicate a time when you are reorganizing your spending habits, probably in response to changes in your personal values. You may be bringing your financial transactions into closer alignment with your ideas and beliefs.

You have circumstances that include adequate recognition and compensation for the services you perform and the work you do. It is a condition of achievement and competence ... where you receive what you have earned, including appreciation and financial payment. You are working on something that will serve you well in the future -- and acquiring the skills and assets you need to improve yourself and your circumstances.

You are able to take pride in your accomplishments and the reputation you have because of them. You are also able to apply this to your advantage in this situation ... and you know it.

You are still recovering from a time of sorrow or sadness over a relationship that has come to a close or the processing of a serious disappointment. This is a challenge you have to face and cope with, but you may prefer to push it aside or ignore it for the time being.

Soon, you will reach a moment where you have to stand up for yourself and the things you value.

Ultimately, you will meet a person who is practical, generous, business-like, able to take on and handle responsibility. She (or he) is prosperous, able to handle money and make sound economic decisions. She is thoughtful, secure, able to deal with the physical side of life. She may have her own successful career or established profession ... or be equally committed and competent at the chores she takes on, whether or not she does them for money.

She is willing to work hard, provides for the physical needs of others without being asked, knows what is needed and automatically supplies that as part of her "job." She is confident, realistic, and sensible She may be a little too involved with "getting useful results" ... or arranging "something that works, that does the job" ... and with the economic considerations of money, the use of resources, and "the bottom line." She may thus seem more hard-edged and hard-headed than soft and sympathetic, but she certainly has her valuable place in the world.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future.
