This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. You are restless. You want substantial changes in your life ... and you need to restore balance to matters that have gone off center. You face issues of unfairness, pressure, and coercion. You also are dealing with wastefulness, self-indulgence, and instability -- either from you or from someone influential in your situation. Overbearing attitudes and unnecessary force are on display -- either from you or from someone else.

You are misdirecting your energy ... and have placed yourself under tension and stress which affect you physically. You need moderation and greater mental clarity. You or someone else is being opinionated, self-willed, compulsive, and self-centered. You are operating on "automatic pilot" ... or are otherwise out of control or failing to give proper direction to your life. You are out of touch and off-track, and meeting the consequences of past choices that did not serve you well.

You have been forced into a lonely, isolated position ... probably for your own eventual good, but you may not like this at all. This may be the result of your failure to listen to good advice and wisdom -- especially that of your own conscience. You may have to consider this a lesson in your ongoing development .. a way to deepen your maturity and your connection to your own Inner Wisdom.

You may, however, need to confront your own foolish vices and choices, your childish dependencies, and your stubborn refusal to learn. Possibly your refusal (or failure) to share your ideas -- or hear the voice of your own inner wisdom has brought you to an impasse. You will need to get back in touch with your true essence ... and give up your absorption with ego concerns and transient matters in the outer world.

There may be no way for you to overcome this condition, use this situation to good advantage, or compensate for the problems it causes you, but at least you have these attitudes and habits out in the open where you can confront and work with them consciously. You know this is happening ... and you may even understand why.

You have come through conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You are now able to see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed.

The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge. The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.

This happier, more liberated way of life -- and the history behind it -- have significant impact on your thinking and attitudes now. They influence the choices you make ... and you whole way of looking at the world.

A time of major change is definitely underway. You may want to deny this ... even though it's been going on so long it hardly qualifies as "news" any more. You may also be resisting the adjustments that will eventually be necessary. It's possible you still don't realize the dimensions of what's involved here, but working with this energy instead of against it might be a better strategy.

You have an unused asset in your situation. You are in conditions where you can take charge of your circumstances ... and your life ... and exercise the power, control, and "governing" functions that are truly your right to claim and your responsibility to fulfill. This is a powerful energy of self-mastery, self-control, and achievement. It indicates the ability for you to be in control, giving direction, demanding respect, and exercising wise and proper authority, but for some reason you aren't yet applying this to your advantage.

You may not realize that this is available to you. You may be holding back for some reason. You may not trust that you actually can do this yet. Or you may be in denial that the need for this exists to the extent it does. You may not realize how much you are harming your issue by not doing this properly.

Before long, you will change some well-established beliefs and attitudes, although possibly through force of necessity. You may see how in some of your ideas and actions you were wrong, unfair, misled, misinformed, confused, or how your behavior did considerable harm to yourself and others. To some extent, you have to consider this episode a "learning experience" ... and realize you are dealing with the consequences of your own choices -- well-informed ones and otherwise. Mostly otherwise.

You will establish a new perspective that may significantly alter some of your previous beliefs about your philosophy of life, your ability to communicate what you know, the "truth" about what you stand for ... and things you were "originally taught" ... on some fairly basic principles of living.

Ultimately, you are moving toward a situation of restlessness, desire for change, and a need to restore balance in circumstances that have gone off center. You may have to deal with conditions of unfairness, pressure, and coercion. You may also have to confront wastefulness, self-indulgence, and instability -- either from you or from someone influential in your situation.
