This is a reading on your economic situation at the moment. It deals with the investments, spending habits, management of income, use of possessions, and other physical resources which are central to your interest at this time. You are coping with emotional loss -- perhaps something from your past or part of your personal history that has shown up again to haunt you. This may be something you expected -- something you were able to predict, because the pain of this encounter is lessened somehow by its familiarity. This is a sad place you've walked through before -- perhaps in other guises ... but you know how this song goes -- and, worse, how it ends.

The feelings here are regret, resignation, sorrow -- but with a sense of "déjà vu". As I said ... you've been through this -- or coped with it -- before This may be a lesson you need to meet one more time -- as a way of helping you finally find the ways to get past it!! However, despite the brave front you may manage to put on ... this could hurt -- more than you realize.<

You may be reluctant to admit the seriousness of what is happening here ... or you may not know anything constructive you can do to compensate for or correct this matter. But at least you are able to deal with it openly and directly. It hasn't the power to "sneak up on your blind side" any more -- for the moment.

You are spinning your wheels, running around in circles, putting in huge amounts of effort and energy -- and achieving no progress whatsoever. This energy is one of intense, disorganized action, strife, and confusion. It also represents an identity crisis -- not knowing who you are or what you "role" in this situation is, needing to fight for your rights and position -- but maybe not being willing or able to do so.

You may face a loss of security, harmony, and privacy. You may not have a good sense of yourself or your competence in this situation. You may feel very ambivalent and internally divided. You may face numerous, complicated, and confusing options and choices. This is an arrangement of extreme discomfort with yourself and your situation. It contains energies that speak of arguments, rivalry, agitation, conflict, disagreements, and divided opinions.

You have come through a time of significant difficulty, serious enough to be termed a crisis, and have found meaning and solid ground again after coping with these upsetting -- and even abusive -- experiences. This new level of wisdom is an asset you can use in this situation now, applying the strength and greater perspective you have gained by virtue of overcoming this period of sustained trouble -- and surviving.

This new, more enlightened perspective has considerable influence now on your ideas, opinions, viewpoints ... and the choices you make now, as a result of what you've been through and what you've learned.

You need to make up your mind, take action, select from the options you've been considering, and set off to chase one or two of the dreams you've been dreaming. This is the point where the brainstorming process ends ... and the elbow grease gets liberally applied. It's time for you to decide to solidify your vision and start accumulating the resources you will need to bring your goals into reality.

Of course, both the dreaming and the doing are important parts of creation. And having the courage to do both is necessary to making genuine progress. You do realize this ... and you are working with this energy openly and directly.

You are in conditions of conflict, separation, misunderstanding, and quarrelling -- possibly regarding an important relationship or alliance. The energy of this card is that of "coming apart," and indicates unbalanced relationships, failure to communicate well, failure to understand your partner and his or her needs, and an overall lack of support and appreciation in either direction among you and your associates.

It can also indicate circumstances where someone in a relationship is too possessive, dishonest, too demanding, manipulative, or cold. There is a severe lack of balance and equality in what should be a much more even or independent arrangement.

It indicates arguments, disputes, distrust, unhappiness, loneliness, and "feeling distant" from those who are supposed to care for you -- and about whom you, too, ostensibly care. This is an energy of unhappiness ... and feeling both unloved and unloving. You may not know what to do about this ... or how to compensate for the problems it causes you. You may also not fully understand the extent to which it is influencing and possibly damaging your efforts to resolve the challenges you are coping with.

Soon, you will reach a place where you once again feel in control of life around you. You will see clearly ... with understanding and wisdom. This may mark an important change in consciousness, viewpoint, or philosophy.

It is a time of enlightenment and restored peace and harmony. It may also accompany a change of attitude, the ability to see things in a more positive light. You will solve your problems by thinking about them differently ... and more rationally.

Ultimately you will find yourself in significantly changed circumstances ... ones that result from a long process of evolution and development. They will be connected to internal changes in you, with a clear relationship between inner changes having caused outer changes ... and outer changes prompting even more inner ones.
