You are redefining some important goals -- perhaps having to do with your financial life or professional direction. Targets you were once aiming for don't suit you any more, or you now realize your direction was "off" somehow. You no longer want what you have been working toward. You may also have achieved something that no longer "fits" you. It's time to make a course correction ... perhaps a substantial one. You are in the process of making this happen.

You have conditions of joy, love, satisfaction, and delight available to you -- and you know how to make the most of this asset.

Your situation contains a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes. This person is lazy, dishonest, a swindler, a fraud. He (or she) is irresponsible, manipulative, overly concerned with creature comforts or "taking the easy way out." He is self-indulgent, a "taker," a false friend .. and an emotional drain on those around him.

Attitudes present here include insincerity, "living in a dream world," wanting others to take care of him or rescue him, and being focused only on how he can "use" people. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected. You realize how much this person -- or these attitudes -- are harming your ability to launch effective action.

You are at least able to deal with this matter openly and directly -- even if you feel limited in your choices about what to do with it. It has significant impact on your thinking -- as well as your full attention at the moment.

Alternatively: You may need to refocus on your own happiness, your own creative pleasures, and your own "love of living." You could have lost sight of this for some reason ... and need to reconnect to this vital source of emotional support in your own life. If you resonate to this meaning more strongly than to the presence of a difficult person or unproductive set of personal attitudes, consider that this is the message the card is giving you on the matter at hand.

You are spinning your wheels, going through an old familiar cycle of rising hope ... followed by disappointment and dashed expectations. You are caught in a lesson you haven't learned yet ... at least not well enough to move on. And now, you are going through the motions of this all too well-known dance step ... one more time.

You may not know a good way to break the pattern or know how to compensate for the problems it's causing you. But eventually, you need to get off this merry-go-round. This time around is as good as any, if you can work it out.

Soon, you will reach a time of decisions, integration, synthesis, and harmony. It may involve a new relationship -- or a redefined relationship with someone you already know. It will involve making decisions, reaching a crossroads, choosing wise and balanced options. This is a time of wholeness, union, self-actualization, agreement, compromise and cooperation. You may solve a problem ... or find something that "fulfills you." This situation may involve combining different elements to create a third "entity" ... which is the solution to a dilemma.

Ultimately you are moving into circumstances where the lack of money is a problem ... and the stress of financial anxiety may be serious enough to cause physical symptoms. This condition is temporary -- but it can still cause you some tension.
