This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are dealing with the results of foolish choices, wrong choices, choices based on fear and despair ... or where you simply refused to commit to a solid course of action, one way or the other. You may feel paralyzed, depressed, stalled, pessimistic ... and even paranoid.

You need to be open to new options. You may have closed down several possible productive alternatives. You need to open up and see what arrives for your further consideration. You may not have the right attitude. You may not be open to success. You may be too much of a "reactor" rather than an actor in your life. You may just be scared to take the risks that face you.

This may not be your most productive arrangement by any means. You need to rethink your situation -- considerably. You do, however, have this problem out in the open where you can see its effects ... and work with it consciously and deliberately. It may be a handicap, but at least it's not unfolding behind your back.

Your circumstances also involve conventional behavior, fulfilling your assigned role, playing by the rules, conforming to social and group expectations, seeking approval, and "doing as you're told." There is no provision for experimentation, change, or innovation. This energy supports, "belonging," maintaining the status quo, and applying traditional routines to deal with issues and problems.

You are feeling self-indulgent, lazy, out of focus, and stagnant. Your creativity is on hold. You are drifting emotionally. You feel a loss of connection in your social life, friendships, and relationships. You need new interests, new opportunities for growth, new projects to excite your soul.

You and others take each other for granted. You are unsatisfied with the love and support levels available to you. You feel friendless and isolated ... and while you may put on a good front -- that's what it is. A front.

You are, however, aware of this dissatisfaction ... and are working to change it honestly and openly. These matters have your full attention ... and you understand how much they affect your thinking and your choices at the moment.

You are in a situation where you can use money and resources wisely. These are circumstances of prosperity where you receive what you deserve and are able to share the bounty with others. It may mark a moment of material gain or an upswing in prosperity. It's possible a gift is involved, or a return on past investments. It is a time of feeling well-off and able to make new investments of yourself and your assets in new projects and other people.

Your own generosity may be on full display -- or you may be the beneficiary of other people who are willing to lend support and help for things you want to accomplish. It's a time of reaping what you've sown -- and you find you have plenty. You may also be prompted to combine your resources with those of others for some effort of mutual gain.

You may also be given opportunities to "branch out" ... and either increase your income or diversify the sources from which it comes. You know about this valuable bounty and are able to work with it directly for your own advantage and benefit.

Your situation contains a person who is honorable, trustworthy, self-confident, and likeable. This is someone who renders sound judgments, has strong personal values, knows who she (or he!!) is and what she stands for. She is dignified, decisive, competent ... and knows how to support the growth and development of others as well as direct her own evolutionary path with wisdom and integrity.

This may be another person in your situation ... or it may be an important part of your own personality that has come to the fore to help you work with this situation -- and to further its own development for use in the future. You may not yet be listening to the advice that is offered, however, or you may not realize how to apply this asset to your own best advantage.

Soon you will reach a time of at least temporary peace on this matter ... where problems and arrangements have been ironed out enough for you to get some rest -- and think about other things for a while. It might be a good idea when this happens to retreat, regroup, pull back, go inward for a while, and rebalance yourself and your priorities. You probably could use a little solitude.

Long term, you will have a problematic personality or set of counter-productive attitudes to deal with. This person is intolerant, temperamental, pompous, conceited, vain, and full of empty ambitions -- great plans that come to nothing. He (or she) wants things handed to him without effort ... and may be dealing with low self-esteem, poor impulse control, defensiveness, and jealousy.

The attitudes present in this situation include selfishness, impulsiveness, bossiness, and anger -- often poorly controlled anger. This may be present in the form of another person -- or it may represent parts of your character that need to be addressed and corrected.

Alternatively: You may have to reconsider the direction you are taking and the kind of leadership you are offering yourself with your choices and goals. Something about your vision and ambitions may be off-track -- either the intensity with which you are pursuing wrong-headed decisions or the lack of commitment you have to your own declared intentions.

If you resonate more emphatically to this possibility than to the presence of a difficult person as described above, you may consider this suggestion to be the message this card is offering you.
