This is a reading on your relationships -- describing the major theme of your association with other people right now. This includes partners, friends, parents, children, other family members, and all others who are contained in the relationships that have your attention now.

You are coming to terms with the fact you've not yet succeeded in ways that please you on some important project or level of experience. Something you may have been working on for a long time still "falls short" of your goal -- and you'll have to try again to bring this arrangement to a successful completion.

There is much more to this situation, however, than meets the eye ... and you are having to trust your feelings and instincts on this issue to a very great extent, rather than being able to take matters at face value. You may have the feeling of something important unfolding beneath the exterior surface of life that hasn't yet made itself clearly known -- or taken on its final shape.

You have someone available to help you with this matter. This person is artistic, creative, well in touch with his (or her) emotions. He has a deep respect for life and living things, and a compassion that enables him to work constructively with less fortunate, dependent people. He is an idealist ... especially when it comes to love and his ability to work with others.

He is charming and enjoys people -- friends and family in particular. He is a dreamer ... and may be something of a mystic. He can help you "find what's in your heart" regarding the matter you are working with. He may also be able to show you the hidden, emotional, or artistic dimensions of your situation.

This may be another person, who is able to draw out similar responses and attitudes in you -- or it may be one of your inner selves who has come to the fore in order to be recognized, lend assistance, and work with you for greater strength and mutual development.

You understand how to work with this asset -- and are able to do so openly and directly. This person -- or these attitudes -- are having a significant positive effect on your thinking and your choices at the moment.

A "personality factor" is also part of the equation now, someone fussy, complaining, overly sensitive, paranoid, frustrated, and emotionally undisciplined. This person may be often over-wrought and fretful, obsessive, clinging, and demanding of sympathy and "support" from loved ones -- while offering very little in the way of compassion or even self-control in return. You have finally begun to recognize the problems this person ... or these attitudes ... cause, seeing them at last for what they are.

You have an unused asset in your situation. You have come through conditions in which too much emphasis on materialism corrupted your ability to enjoy life. You are now able to see how you yourself... or someone significant in your situation ... placed too much stock in money, status, position, and other temporal trappings, possibly to the point of abusing himself (or herself!!) or others in his drive to succeed.

The belief that this kind of "success" would make him happy will has proved false -- and yet it paved the way for a new level of spiritual awareness and enlightenment to emerge. The energy of this card indicates the joyful experience of regaining your soul after a time of losing it -- or worse, giving it away -- for one reason or another. Abusive attitudes, practices, and circumstances end ... and better arrangements can now prevail.

You may not yet realize that this option is available to you, however. Or the new freedom may be so recent you don't realize you can trust it. For whatever reason, you are not yet applying this new liberty -- and happiness -- to your own advantage. You may need to actively work with this gift in order to understand and implement its benefits.

Soon, you will face a set of problems caused by someone who is immature, who has a bad self-image, a negative attitude, or no self-confidence or motivation. This may be another person who has influence in your situation ... or it may be a part of yourself you are having to cope with and realign.

New sources of income and new professional opportunities wait on the horizon. You are beginning a new effort of material creation ... which could eventually bring an improved lifestyle -- and more healthful conditions -- as well as more money and more to show for your investment of time and energy.
