These, or very similar experiences, are some of the possibilities for the week ahead.

This week's energy will feel very stalled and stagnant. It's a temporary condition, but the inertia can be depressing nevertheless.

You may be dealing with the business of necessary changes which you are, for some reason, reluctant to make. You could be resisting the transition into new circumstances ... or the release of habits, conditions, and other structures in your life that have become obsolete and ineffective.

The feeling that prevails for this week is that of being in limbo, anxious and uncertain.

You may need both a change of scenery and new ideas and motivations to move forward with the next business of your life -- but those features and possibilities haven't shown up yet -- at least not in any way that feels at all appealing.

Those changes are taking shape -- but the time for them to reveal themselves is not yet at hand. The stillness, however, can promote a distinct atmosphere of uneasiness and fear of the future while you wait for the fog to lift and the path ahead to become clear ... so if possible, use this time to relax, meditate, ask for directions, and listen for what comes back to you in your synchronicities, your dreams, the voice of you ... talking to yourself inside your own mind. (One of my favorite and most effective requests at such times is, "Show me the next step and let me know it when I see it.")

Meanwhile, consider what is in your life that you may need to release in order to lighten your load for the trip ahead. What are you holding onto that is hindering your movement and your freedom? What do you need to leave go of in order to accept something new and better in its place? Answering those questions may help get you moving again.

You can also use this time of quiet and stillness to prepare for the next stage of your journey ... wherever that's going to take you. The appearance of this card says change is underway ... even if it hasn't made an appearance in the real world yet. It won't be long, however, before it's time to go.
