Taurus energy is about stabilizing, nourishing, supporting and profiting from the tangible things you've built and the material resources you have either earned, acquired or somehow received that maintain you and your existence. Taurus is here to enjoy the physical experience of life in this world. It loves sensations, and uses all its senses to savor existence and its special moments. It appreciates beauty. It is passionately interested in things like money, possessions and things it can enjoy. It is easy-going, unflappable, generous ... and intent on enjoying its journey in the time it spends here.

Doing that on a scale that will satisfy Taurus (or at least come as close as possible!), can take considerable wealth -- or access to currency that will supply the "stuff" of comfort and luxury. This self is your Inner Financier, whose job is to help you produce the riches you want to own ... and keep you in the lifestyle you want to enjoy. The most basic responsibility of this inner self is your physical survival. So, of course, it is definitely the one charged with keeping you in life's necessities ... food, shelter, safety, etc. When those are the concerns staring you smack in the face, your Inner Financier helps you figure out how to get what you need ... and how to use what you've got to get more of what you need.

It uses what you have, including talents, skills, smarts, charm, time, the capacity to work, and so forth ... as well as more tangible goods to build an economic foundation you can rely on. But once a foundation is assured (and for most of us, it is -- at least enough that we're not "on the street"), it's ready to turn attention to "getting more," ... living more richly, and generating a lifestyle you can truly call prosperous and abundant. Your Inner Financier is here to help you survive, thrive ... and enjoy life. If your goal is to "live long and prosper" ... that the inner self with whom you want a conscious, workable, cooperative alliance.
